I'm back! I couldn't post here for a while because my computer's hard drive was on its way out, and it (understandably) took a while for a replacement hard drive to arrive. (I absolutely do not enjoy browsing the internet on my phone, so that was out of the question.) Then I was supposed to be receiving a data cable to clone my old hard drive onto the new one, but the store randomly decided to cancel the order with no notice. Anyway, long story short, my computer is working again! I couldn't live comfortably or happily without the thing, so I'd say that's pretty positive for me.
Welcome back!

Mine are in what looks like a short Solo cup, red, hee, hee. I now have 9, looked at them with a flashlight when I got up, ha!!
I will place out front where there is full sun when ready to plant in ground. So exciting, have never grown a veggie, except for arugula,
from seed.
Neat! I tried to start some inside, but the tomatoes never sprouted, which it why I sowed some outside. Surprised how fast they germinated as it said about 2-2.5 weeks and it felt like just a couple of days! It'll be so exciting to watch our tomato plants grow and keeping each other updated on growth. All of my plants this year are from seed. It was cheaper to do it this way. Plus, it looks like I will have seed left over for some and can grow them in following years!

My positive. Another mild temperature day, which means AC off and windows open. Fresh, crisp air and chirpy bird noises flutter through the open windows and immerse me when I hang at my computer downstairs.

Mia6 Mia6 Hope your back is better, or will be very soon. *Empathy* and also for how you're feeling without your girl physically there beside you. *So much.*
M maggiedemi I like to get things off-season -- save a lot and have something to look forward to when the time for it arrives! I've actually got quite a few things still in their plastic shipping bags, in drawers, for that purpose. On some days when I'm feeling down, I might look through them and open up something to put on that will make me feel nice. Like a surprise I've gotten for myself.
Moz Moz Yes, welcome back! Glad you're up and running again. I don't like doing much on the phone either, except talking, texting and photos. *If you haven't looked at newegg.com for the cable, you might want to. They're my go-to place for IT stuff.*
A nice cool morning! Got some sleep. Had a Big Blue wakeup call.

Today is my 17th wedding anniversary. 👰🏻 DH keeps asking what I want to do but I haven’t made up my mind. Normally we go out to eat and do a little shopping for ourselves. I think we will get take-out and maybe ice cream after walking at a nature center. The weather isn’t too hot.

Congratulations, MoochNNoodles MoochNNoodles -- that's quite an accomplishment! Whatever you do, I hope it's very enjoyable. Nature center sounds wonderful!

Temps in the low 70's with no humidity, now that's my kind of positive day! :yess: We took a long walk by a man made lake and golf course then came home and sat on the patio with an afternoon coffee pick-me-up. All in all a nice relaxing day.

Spent some time with a friend today :) It was nice to see her outside of Zoom. I needed to return something to Target and browse the garden center for plants and since I'm not allowed to take public transportation per my boss, my friend drove me.

I never thought of Amazon as a clothing store, but they have some really nice shirts & jeans! They even have their own Amazon brand of clothes.

Happy Anniversary!

Strangely enough, I never seem to drink afternoon coffee. Probably because that's when I take my 2 hour walk.

Did you have to keep 6 feet apart & wear a mask? The rules keep changing, I'm never sure of them.

My positive is that I found a nice second pet carrier that has a top door and rivets holding it together tightly. I think I will order it so I can cancel one of my vet appointments and take the cats on the same day and maybe get a discount.

Nice about the carrier! Petco has PetMate carriers that are top and side loading, hard plastic construction with rivets, and affordable, FYI. I couldn't do without mine!

At Target and the garden center? Both places required face masks. There were signs sbout staying 6 feet apart but they were mostly ignored.

I am in a lot of pain but I feel guilty about taking Tuesday off since that is the day of our weekly delivery. I work retail and we are understaffed so calling off would make things worse on already difficult day. My bosses would not get mad at me for calling off but I still don't want to do it unless I absolutely have to.
You gotta take care of yourself first. It may be stressful for them, but they will survive. I remember days when I took care of toys in a Walmart, but when there were call-ins or people taking lunches/breaks, I'd also have to watch sporting goods, hardware, auto, and garden center at the same time. Which is like 1/4 of the whole store it felt like. Yes, sometimes stressful, but I handled it and often told people thank you for your patience, there were calls in and I'm taking care of X, X, X departments all by myself. Most people are sympathetic to that.

Maybe think of it this way. If you didn't slow down and take some time to recoup, it may take longer for you to heal and be back to 100%. The sooner you are feeling 100%, the more productive you are at work. It's okay to feel empathetic towards your coworkers, and it is also okay and very important to take care of yourself first. <3 Hope you feel better soon!

Love the top loaders. All my kitties are little tricksters, and never went back after my vet suggested using top loaders.

😭😭😭😭😭 Stay safe out there! <3

My positive is Jo-anns is having up to 80% off sale on summer stuff, including some indoor herb growing kits at $1.80 and some planters at 60% off. Checking out the deals, a pop-up also appeared asking for e-mail address to get a 20% whole order. I tried the coupon code with the items, and it worked! My mom mentioned Jo-ann sales a couple weeks ago, and I asked teasingly, oh, are you telling me because you were open to buying me some....? She said she would! Things still seemed a bit pricey, so I passed, but the items were at a higher discount now and on top the 20% off coupon. I asked her if she was still open to getting me some, and she said yes, $30 of stuff. That was the exact price of everything in my cart, plus some change! Perfect! I bought 11 herb planters, including 2 mini rose kits (bought one for a friend and will pay her back for that one) and 3 differing sizes of concrete planters. ~3, 4, and 6 inch cubes! Everything will be picked up curbside between 3 different stores as some were out of stock of some items,

Plants are helping me get through this time and I am so looking forward to getting more goodies to grow!!

That's amazing, W WillowMarie -- we hope for pix when you get everything settled in! And those are words of wisdom to catlover73 catlover73 -- we think easier said than done sometimes, because there is never any shortage of things that need doing, but yeah, sometimes we have to take some R&R and remind ourselves that we won't be helping anyone if we're sick or worse. We have to be strong and healthy to do our work and care for our loved ones!

You know the funny thing is I had to move and transplant the peonies awhile back because they were in the way of a shed we were putting up. The person helping us said they would never make it. Well not only did they make it but they flourished and spread. Just goes to show you, not to believe everything you hear.
