Hi
This is Finn. He was found in a Home Depot parking lot. I’m wondering if maybe he’s mixed with a Bengal cat? He’s huge, weighs 19 pounds, yes 19 pounds 😊 and is only 8 months old. I put the tv remote next to him to give an approximation of

his size. Any ideas, thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

We need to see the sides to get knowledge what tabby pattern he is. Probably a brown mackerel tabby with white. Not impossible some would say silver.

Anyway, no visible bengal, sooner a Mayne Coon grandfather to give him this size.

I would say not half, if any it would be far down the generation line. Is he overweight? Or just a big cat?

Bengals don't get any bigger than other cats. High-content Savannahs do, but he doesn't appear to have any recent Savannah heritage. And I don't see any evidence of Maine Coon heritage either. I think he's just a big boy!

Did you have him scanned for a microchip, contact Animal Control, etc.? Finding a friendly cat in a parking lot is fairly uncommon, I hope nobody lost him.

He was purposely dumped when he was 2 months old....the guy who had him threw him out of a bucket and kicked him across the parking lot. My bro in law saw this and attacked the guy. The police were called and luckily the officers were animal lovers, told my brother in law to take the kitten and go. We took him to the vet and he said that the cat still had his baby teeth....I took him. Finn’s a big mush ball but still very skittish.....but I love him to pieces❤❤❤

He could have MC ancestry and you would never know it by looking. There was a girl on here that had an MC and Siamese mix. It didn't look like either. Just a huge domestic short hair. It came from a breeder and she had papers on it. She's no longer on here but I think she went by MistyDawn. Some sort of big breed ancestry could be possible.

He is gorgeous❤ It is hard to tell what ancestry could be there for a dsh cat who is dumped etc. Merlin Is a big cat too, but he is a bit overweight, I wonder if he could have some Maine Coon in him too, but he doesn't look Maine coone. Forest cats do have very long hind legs and they can jump like no other domestic cats can, like helicopters😹 For his color I would say a brown mackerel tabby tuxedo. There was another cat posted here a while back I think he looked a bit like him but he had a ticked tabby pattern, with the white as well. That cat looked a bit abyssian to me as well which is the breed that is known for ticked tabby patterns. Here is Merlin. The largest cat I have ever seen In person was a large ginger tabby cat I cared for when I was volunteering with a rescue. He was huge, the most gentle cat ever and he had been declawed and all four paws- he must’ve been like 2 1/2 feet tall when he was sitting.

Thank you❤ Merlin looks exactly like my BamBam without the white socks. Before Finn, he is the largest cat I’ve seen. BamBam weighed about 30 lbs when he was younger...he’s 19 years old now. Finn too is an incredibly high jumper....he’ll just launch himself off the floor....I think he still has a lot of growing to do...he has paws like baseball gloves! Another thing I noticed is that he doesn’t shed. His coat is real smooth and silky and when I comb him there’s practically nothing in the comb. I’m thinking about harness training him....I thought if he was part Bengal he would like that. This is BamBam with Saphira....she’s 2 and has been in love with him since she was a baby.
