My positive is that I got to spend over 2 hours playing with my neighbor's pomeranian puppy before he disappeared. I hope they find him. Hopefully tomorrow my positive will be that he is found. :crossfingers:

Does anybody know of anything affordable that I could purchase for my neighbor, so that the puppy doesn't keep running off? My neighbor has Parkinsons.

We would need a bit more background info, e.g. is the dog on leash with the owner when off his property, does your neighbor have a fenced in yard, how does the dog get out/run away, etc. I'm sorry to hear about your neighbor's Parkinson's diagnosis. :frown:

He had a collar around his neck that had the thingy where you would hook a harness. I don't know why he isn't using a harness. I don't know if they have a fenced area, maybe I can take a walk by there today. I don't usually go on the road to the left because there is more traffic. All I know is that he has Parkinsons and has been sick. He sits outside with puppy and falls asleep, puppy takes off to see me. Then a few nights ago he was cleaning his pool, puppy took off to see me. I had him for over 2 hours. It seems to take him a long time to realize puppy is gone.

The positive is I got to spend lots of time with the puppy playing outside the other day. I'll have to call to see if they found him. I have bad phone anxiety, but the wondering is worse.

You did a good deed by spending time with the pup and showing concern about his welfare.🤗 Does he have a microchip? It would be helpful if you could find that out. My guess is the Parkinson's is progressing and he has side effects which are to be expected. Does he live alone? If so, do you know if he has any relatives close by?

I don't know about the microchip. I don't know if he is married either, he moved here recently. He said he is a retired police officer and had to quit his job because of the Parkinsons.

The positive is that spending time with puppy was really healing for me. Just the unconditional love and how he always seems so excited to see me.

Maybe if the puppy shows up again you can keep a leash handy and walk him back home.

My supervisor forwarded me an email from a high maintenance researcher earlier this week. The researcher basically said I did a great job at managing her project  My supervisor added her own positive comments as well  The email was also forwarded to management so they're all aware of it. It nice to have the work I do be acknowledged and appreciated 🤗
Way to go! :celebrate:

My positive is, the pomeranian puppy is alive! I took my walk past his house, it was really quiet until I passed their open garage, and he barked at me. Sweetest sound I've ever heard! I told him how glad I am that's he's okay and how much I love him. He definitely has a leash, because he was tied up in the garage, with the door open, and he could come out of the garage a ways. His owner never heard us or came out.

I saw an AWESOME rainbow this afternoon. 🌈 It wasn't long; but it was FAT...and the full spectrum. So many times I've seen rainbows that are mostly pink and orange with a little yellow. This one...every color was prominent. I don't think I've ever seen one so intense before. Farther north I could see a fainter pink/orange one too. If I hadn't been driving I would have taken pictures; although they rarely do them justice.

Maybe he would give him to you? Would maggie and demi accept him? Or he needs a fenced in yard.

Storms predicted for today but will bring cooler air and lower humidity with it. Cal and I want to spend
the summers in Kennebunkport, Maine, hee, hee. The ac is a godsend during these days of unbearable
heat and humidity. By Saturday I think I'll be able to sit out again. I brought the cushion for my new chair
inside last night because of rain and guess who thinks its hers? She looks so cute in it, like a little Queen.

No way, my neighbor really loves him. I think he's an expensive dog. He has a fancy haircut and everything. Demi loves him! I was shocked. The windows were all open, Demi was laying on his window perch. Puppy saw him and barked his head off. Demi wasn't even scared! He looked happy to have a friend.

My positive is I'm still so happy about seeing "my" puppy again. Also, we are getting our Aldi order today.

Sunday will not get out of 50s with all sun, nice and cool
