I think I could learn to love Robo vac! I might need an army of them though. Lol
The muscle relaxers do the same thing to me. I learned very quickly to take just a quarter of one. They gave me the smallest dose made and I still felt like a melting rubber band! It wasn’t as strong as the pain pills though. I can’t even walk when I take those. :thud:
I think much of my pain actually came from muscle spasms so those pills seemed to stop more of the pain too. Pain pills put me to sleep so I just don’t know anything at all. The cats could be having wild parties and I would never know. Shhh. Don’t tell Banjo.

One thing good about the Robo vacuum is that once the battery is low, they head back to the base themselves to get recharged. And yes, if the area is big, you probably need more than one to do the job.

It's better not to rely too much on medications, not too good for the body system. Do more stretches.

Another rainy day! It takes me so long to get anything done when using only one arm. Lol I was trying to just do simple tasks today like dusting and polishing the furniture. I came back into the living room and found Banjo engrossed in the TV. That’s kind of unusual on a rainy day. She is normally looking for Froggie! I sat down to see what was so interesting.

You really like this show Banjo?
DD96542A-919D-42DF-99F6-7FFB36268034.jpeg

I do. I’m learning something. I know why you keep getting rid of dust!

You know that fairy dust and happy thoughts can make you fly, don’t you?

Ohhhh! You’re watching Peter Pan! You like Tinkerbell. Lol

Shhh, mom!

There’s Tinkerbell! I want to meet her!

You have her picture on a shirt!
D6F8EC25-6794-47D0-832A-F5AD2C74EA52.jpeg

Why didn’t you tell me about this? I’m going to start looking for her. She’s magic like Froggie.
778DA034-5682-47F5-AC98-BFF8142F3E50.jpeg

I’m going to ask her for some dust. I already have happy thoughts.

I would like to fly too!

Do you remember when I tried on those wings you bought?

You told me they were bunny ears!
84D6BDE5-A70D-4C54-91EA-E51FE7F6962C.jpeg

I’m thinking they really were fairy wings! If I have those and some dust, I could fly.

Froggie, do me a favor? If you see a fairy, tell her we want some fairy dust! Mom gets rid of all the dust in the house.

Stop dusting mom. I want to fly too!

Heh! Besides a hurt arm, that’s the best excuse I have ever had to stop dusting!

Somehow I can actually envision a flying Banjo! Who needs pain killers when you have imagination and a Banjo?!?!? :flail:Laughter works better!

Have a great night everyone. :heartshape:

tabbytom tabbytom O would need more than one Robo because the cats have more than one area where they like to leave fur. Lol It’s amazing how much litter they can track and how much fur they can deposit.
I totally agree about putting chemicals in your system. Natural healing is always better. My favorite form of pain relief is hot water. I also have too many digestive issues to take much Tylenol. tarasgirl06 tarasgirl06 told me about putting uncooked rice in a sock and heating that in the microwave. I heat it for about a minute and a half and then put it on my shoulder. It’s wonderful! It works much better than my heating pad. I can walk around with it around my shoulder as I work too. I think it helps loosen things up so stretching is easier. If you haven’t tried that, I highly recommend it. Another friend suggested adding some lavender to it but I haven’t tried that yet.

The other thing is that the Robo vacuum does well on hard floor and not over rugs as it gets jammed up while trying to move over it unless they have the latest models that can run over any surface. If you have a step over to the net room, the Robo vacuum won't do that room as it has a sensor to detect ledges. Also if the bottom of the cabinet is too low, it may get stuck. What I do is I use a rug to block off those areas.

Cats leave lots of fur around and sometimes I miss a sweeping day, I feel like I'm walking on cotton ball floors.................

Yes, heat pad works well but not too hot as it'll burn your skin if it's too hot.

I also think that Banjo might use it for some unintended purpose.
Hee hee. She would probably ride on it.

I am not familiar with the Pirate Ship ride but it sounds like a bucking horse!
It doesn't buck. It swings straight back and forth. You go so high either way, that it feels like you're going to fly out. :eek3:

A little romance is very nice.
I agree. ;):crossfingers:

Hummingbirds look like tinkerbell fairies! 🧚‍♀️

I keep forgetting about laughter medicine. Thanks for the reminder. 👍

Cotton ball floors! will Robo work on a tile bathroom floor? I would love a Robo there. The one thing I really don’t like about fur dust bunnies is stepping on one with wet feet fresh out of a nice shower!
Tiled floors are perfect except that on any floors, floor corners or around legs of tables and chairs won't get swept as the suction is in the middle and under the device, so those are the blind spots.

It's just much better and easier to use a regular vacuum IMHO! *Love your icon btw!*

The Robo vacuum is for the lazy days and the regular vacuum you have to push and pull. I think it's quite tiring but maybe it's a good workout.

Thank you for the compliment on my icon. Yes, this is the fight against Covid-19 and our country is fighting hard against it and making everyone rally under the title #SGUnited :agree:

Well, not EVERYbody, as we know :fuming:I cannot believe those who protest and say it's a "hoax" and a "lie" and flout the orders designed to keep us safe. I'm just beyond furious at them for risking everyone's life like that.
My roomie has a Dyson and I got to use it today. It is like a toy -- so light you can pick it up with one hand, easily -- but it works really well. And it's FUN to use. I know people who have them who say they lose suction and aren't worth the $$$. So IDK. All I do know is this one is a lot of fun!

Precisely, the pandemic is acting right in front of their eyes and yet they don't see it and say its a hoax and that's why it's hard to eradicate the virus and have it under control.

Yes, the Dyson is good and powerful and I have 2 of them and yes, it's expensive.

will Robo work on a tile bathroom floor?
The other good thing to have is a heavy duty steam cleaner. Attach a disposable towel (not paper) and mop away and it'll kill germs and pick up hair and dust bunnies and just discard the towel when the job is done. You'll be amazed how much dirt and hair this will pick up. I have one heavy duty and a hand held one for smaller jobs.
I have a dyson! I saved my Discover cash back for years to get it.
Good for you!

N NY cat man I have read of people saving the cat fur and using it as the would wool. They used it to make blankets! Lol I could cover a lot of humans in comfort if I did that here. I bet those would be really soft and M maggiedemi would have that rainbow she likes! Recycling is good. Since the kitties don’t love getting wet, I guess they would be “dry clean only!” What do you think maggiedemi?
Humming birds might be fairies! Lol Do try laughter as medicine. It always makes me feel better.

tarasgirl06 tarasgirl06 I would love a lightweight vacuum. Right now I have trouble pushing and pulling mine around. I am sticking to the broom for the moment. Mopping is a challenge too but it has to be done. I’m not doing the whole house in a day now though.

Lari Lari Have you been satisfied with the Dyson?

tabbytom tabbytom If a Robo got under the bed that would make it a valuable asset! It may not get everywhere but any help right now would be welcomed. I do think I might find a kitty chasing it though. Lol I love the kitty vacuuming! I’m going to show that to Banjo! Hint hint Banjo!! Lol

I wish everyone would protect each other from this virus and any other that comes around. My great grandfather was here during the yellow fever epidemic and it devastated the area. I have a travel permit that was issued to him because the humans had come together to protect the population and you were not allowed to leave or enter the area unless you were cleared of the illness. There were many events taking place then that were similar to what we are all going through now, although the illness was different. We can learn from what our predecessors experienced and from the solutions they found. I love the “Stay Home for SG “ kitty! I agree. Stay home! Let’s all take care of each other. Love from a distance.

Any furniture that is at least 1" higher and maybe about 3" broader space from side of the Robo vacuum, it'll go under and in and out. If it's just a wee bit lower, the Robo vacuum will be stuck. It has sensors so if it comes near a wall, it'll avoid it and switch directions.

Yes, I agree too, When the virus has no one to infect, it'll just die down but we have all these clowns for the virus to infect and it'll never end Look at those countries that lift the lock down, they are being hit by the second wave.

If only we could just put the covidiots into suspended animation for a few weeks.
Hibernation could be good right now.
