I should be doing laundry. I haven't done nearly as much laundry since the lockdown so I have no excuse. :rolleyes2:
Oh my goodness, I knew there was something I was meant to be doing....my laundry basket completely lost under it all... :eek2::soldier:

Get started with work. Fortunately it's just rounds so should be fairly easy barring any unexpected issues :crossfingers:

Get moving... start my day.. have been just sitting around, on line. Need to move.. This quarantine is getting to me. Yesterday, had a ton of energy; today, none.

I really do want to break out---- sit on the beach wall... It is a gorgeous sunny day.

I am tempted to go upstairs and sit in the closest, small balcony.. but I am kind of frightened to do so. I have many friends who are saying, go out, sit on balcony; yet, just as many are saying: NO WAY...

Since I have had a ton of low autoimmune, allergic issues, I am hesitant to go out.
Last night, I heard that the virus will probably effect 70% of the population, over 2 years. The odds of getting it, is so high.

I have been in my apartment for 6 weeks. They are saying at least another 2 weeks-----I am betting it will be the entire month of May. My butt is getting sore from sitting so much.

No new cases in the building for 10 days; however, we went 2 weeks before we had 2 new cases. This virus is so strange. No one understands it.

Just venting.

Go ahead and vent, it's okay. :hugs: I think most of us share your frustration and also worry about getting the virus since no one is exempt, we are all vulnerable.

 went to bed late last night

:yeah:
We all need a place to vent and share our anxiety, and this is the best!

It's a community balcony, right? I'd be nervous about it.

:hugs: :hugs: :hugs: :hugs: :hugs:

I should probably fold some towels.

Yes it is one of many balconies in the building. I snuck up there during 'off' hours; meaning, during the break time in-between tenants allowed 'out' time. I was the only one there. They have some chairs, set up at 6 feet distances.

Being alone was nice. I stayed there about 20 minutes. I was expecting to feel much better, while up there. While I was there; I was thinking that I have almost he same view: about 1/2 the view. I always have my windows open for fresh air. It is almost as good as what I have in my apartment, in comfort.

What I really want/need is the ability to go outside, in my car... just for a ride; to get an iced coffee at Starbucks, to get an ice cream, or something. Just the freedom to be able to go out. That is what I am missing.

Yes, I am concerned about my car. My friend told me that she is now starting to walk her floor, as allowed--with a mask. She said that this weekend (weather was gorgeous); many cars were gone from the parking lot. I should have checked on mine.

I have a couple of doctors appointments in 2 weeks. I know one I can do, on the phone. The other will most likely be rescheduled. They are only open for emergencies. I have a call in for my doctor. I need a different, stronger prescription ointment for the 'rashes' I have. Yes, I know what it is. I had a biopsy taken. I do too want to go on oral steroids, for several reasons. I am asking for a steroid ointment instead.

I really want my car available. The last time I started and used it was March 26. I know the battery is dead. I need to arrange for AAA to come in and replace the battery. I want to check on it, before I need to use it. I do not see any way other than breaking quarantine. I would like to just see the condition it is in.

I am venting, again.

Today, the staff--woman and the executive director, did another: "Dance Party", outside. There was a DJ with a couple of speakers and his computer. The staff carried some "We Miss You", "We Love You" signs and danced around all sides of the building, for us. Yes, it was loud. Yes, it was corny; Yes, some people would say they made fools out of themselves.. but it was for a good cause--US....

I thought it was sweet, kind, and their way of keeping us uplifted while in quarantine. I really feel as if they are trying..

The Malcontents in here are really bad. Some are trying to hire a Civil Rights attorney for keeping us in quarantine, and abusing our Civil Liberties... I am amazed. Just shaking my head.. not getting along in this..

There are over 1200 cases in my city. The surrounding cities are even worse. Is it safe to break quarantine and go out? no one knows..
I would hate to have to repeat quarantine because some crazies broke out.. Yet, the mental state is quite bad in here.

The weather has been very bad, rainy, and now cold. That helps keeping me in. Windows are always open.

Anyway.. that is my vent for today.

It's a well-deserved vent, artiemom artiemom . My 87 year-old mother is having a very difficult time with it too. She was having cognitive issues before any of this started and we pretty much went right from my brother dying unexpectedly to this virus. She lives alone and the isolation is really getting to her and making the cognitive issues worse. I'm trying to do what I can, but I can also only do so much, plus she's making me crazy.

We're not in a good situation here in Massachusetts at all right now. :frown: It's worse where you are compared to where I am.

As far as what I should be doing right now, I've got plenty to do, but I am just going to relax and hang out on the computer for a bit with my coffee.

Emptying the litter boxes. I think I even left the light on in th laundry room when I came back here. The cord on my toaster oven is going so DH went to pick up a new one so I wanted to look online to tell him which one to get. He'll be home any minute. Oops. :lol2:

Working but feeling a little light headed so taking a break. I know my normally low blood pressure dropped causing the light headedness.

Playing with the foster kittens - they haven't gotten much attention today.

More cleaning - I am gradually "deep cleaning" each room.

Cleaning out the refrigerator - I have some science projects in there but I don't think they are on par with discovering penicillan.
