Got a new momma! She's super pretty (again). She has really pretty and loooong eye "makeup" and beautiful eyes. She looks to be a tabby on white but her tabby pattern in different than I'm used to. What is it called?

Her feet also seem to look a little odd. Almost like mittens versus toes and sometimes it looks like she has an extra toe but today's the first day I've gotten a good solid look at her so maybe it was more my imagination. I didn't chance messing with her feet. 😊

As for her paws, she might be polydactyl
Thank you! I'm gonna try to get a better look at her feet tomorrow. Normally the shelter tells us if they are polys but her feet do look a little odd. This is truly only the second time I've seen her out of her box. She's very very sweet but far more dedicated to staying with her babes right now.

I agree with broken mackerel for her pattern. She is a very pretty girl and looks so sweet!

Her toes in front do look a bit odd, but I'm not seeing extra toes. I wonder if she might be declawed?

If so, they did a very poor job. I had declawed cats growing up, and their feet looked normal.

Katie M Katie M - I will be very careful! I don't think she is declawed (fortunately. I would really hate that for her) as I feel like I distinctly remember seeing her feet get "stuck" on one of her blankets when kneading but when I double check I'll make sure to be extremely careful with her as I know it is exceptionally painful for them.

She has nails! I saw them! They are really long though so I'm gonna have to try to clip them tomorrow. Her feet still look odd to me though. Almost like they are super wide but a little too short. If I can get ahold of them tomorrow I'll try to take a closer look.
