Should she be bigger ? I know all pregnant cats don’t get HUGE but it’s worrying me she isn’t bigger. Could feel at least one kitten kicking last night... is it possible she is just having a small litter ?

Hello all! I’ve posted about my pregnant cat before. I don’t know her exact date but I’ve been feeling kittens move for 2 weeks now and as of late, I’m feeling them move down low (when I do feel them).
she has started the last two days producing clear fluid from her nipples if I squeeze and the main thing I’m asking about is she keeps trying to hide under my daughters bed which she NEVER does... should I leave her ? Or move her ? Any help is appreciated!!! Thanks :)

She is looking for a nest to have her babies in. Fix up a cardboard box with old towels or blankets that she can use. Since she evidently wants privacy, put it under that bed or in a closet that she will go into. Let her stay there and look in on her from time to time. Or, if you want, make several and let her choose which one she wants.

Thank you so much! I did do that in the basement , but maybe they are not private enough for her since I have other female cats !

Hello 👋🏻
Checking back in ! So today is February 14, it’s been 3 1/2 weeks since we brought hermione back in and she was already visibly pregnant.
yesterday in the later morning I noticed light yellowish/green discharge coming out of her vulva. No smell.Today she is mostly sleeping in her nesting box , kneading it . Still eating here and there . My question is , if that was her mucus plug and we have been feeling kittens move for 2 1/2 weeks, do you think she is close ???

Hello, I’ve posted before. Our 3 year old cat hermione came back in the house 3 1/2 weeks ago . (She is an outdoor/indoor cat.)
When she came back in, she was already showing, nipples were big and we started feeling kittens move 2 1/2 - 3 weeks ago. Yesterday am, I noticed greenish yellow discharge coming out of her vagina. Cleaned it away, and noticed some dried discharge there today as well. She has been in and out of her nesting box , kneading it , purring lots, and loving the belly rubs. I can still feel kittens but down lower. Do you think she’s close ? If that was her mucus plug yesterday how much longer does she have ?? Thank you! Anxiously waiting momma . ♥🐱

I don't have the most experience but I don't think they are supposed to have green/yellow discharge. Most of what I have read says to go to a vet if you see that. Did it smell at all?

Nope, no smell at all. The fresh stuff coming out was Definately more yellow/cream coloured but after it dried , looked a little dark yellow /green

Do you plan to spay her after this litter?
As stated in original post, YES she is getting spayed after this litter.
it’s been two days since she lost her mucus plug , and still no labour... is that normal??

From the article I posted for you in my post #2
"Don’t be surprised if you see a discharge coming out of the cat’s vulva in the hours before birth commences. This is the mucus plug leaving the birth canal."
Thank you for posting that! But do you think it’s ok that it’s been 2 days since the discharge and still no labour ?🤷🏻‍♀️♥
