OK...who was it who never heard of Trace Adkins, and who was amazed by that? LOOK...I'm not a big country music fan, but even I couldn't avoid "Honky Tonk Badonka Donk. I chose to post the version withOUT the video, 'cause...there were some nearly bare bottoms on there.

OH...and for the record, I did watch him perform it on television, and at that time, Mr. Adkins had a pretty fine Badonka Donk himself!

I'm sad that nobody remembers Tommy Roe anymore. My dad used to play his 8-track tapes when I was a kid. It reminds me of a happier time, dancing in the living room to dad's big stereo. Back before there was any clutter in the house, back before mom got religion and banned most music from playing.

Got a dollar's worth of pennies and a nickel and a dime
I'm richer than I've been in a long, long time
Dollar's worth of pennies and a nickel and a dime
And you're my honey baby

I'm afraid to even ask what sort of religion that could be :lovecat2:. Tango anyone?
JW. They ban everything. My mom got weird & mean when she found God. It's strange, you would think it would be the opposite. :dunno:

Those old ghosts still chase me
But feels like they're losing ground
Yeah I'm still crazy
But now I'm just a little watered down

Was that a rhetorical question.:dunno: Either way, I'm proud to raise my hand, and say I had never heard of Trace Adkins. :wave2: And I'm sure NO ONE is amazed by that.

Well this 80's hair band/rocker girl avoided it until now. And since you didn't post the "memorable" video, I suspect I'll quickly forget the name Trace Adkins. ;)

I dunno, Watered Down is a great song/video - his voice is amazing. He was shot by his second wife :fear::thud:

Johnny Cash is another incredibly amazing person - he was 71 years old in that video. It's a Nine Inch Nails original, but Johnny Cash really brings out the perspective, and yet there's hope at the end...

Here's one that's not quite as intense although the backstory is as well.
