Last night I woke up from a loud crash. It was my new TV.

And my 7month old Graham was the culprit. 😩 she climbed over and also messed up some of my husband’s stuff hidden at the back.

i asked my husband to throw it away as it already has scratches and the monitor is also broken. We just had it for one month!

I am sure I am not alone dealing with a destructive cat. 😁

Thats an expensive little boy you have. Cant you claim off insurance for the tv? Looks like everything in your home is going to have to be nailed, screwed, bolted or glued down for the time being.
No there is no insurance :) I replaced another TV (smaller this time).
This is not the first time she has broken anything, and now that I have my foster Oreo (almost same age), my house is a ticking time bomb! Just yesterday afternoon also I heard another crash from the kitchen. When I checked Oreo and Graham (yes Graham again!) toppled down our tall plastic kitchen organizer filled with condiments. Too much mess in the kitchen!

You should put safety straps on the next TV you buy to keep it from toppling over like this one:agree: You can get straps that will attach the TV to the furniture it's sitting on, if attaching things to the wall is not an option.

Anyone with cats who knock over things during rambunctious play or during crazy zoomies should use safety straps on anything that may potentially be damaged (like a broken glass screen) or cause injury (like falling on a cat or child). Safety straps can be bought at hardware stores, big box stores, electronic stores, as well as many places online.

Oh, we have many broken pieces of decor around the house. It just adds to the overall character of our interior design. We often have people marvel at our chipped vases.. "oh, what a fascinating looking piece!".. yes, we call it, "the rage of the zoomies." :rolleyes2:

Your not alone when our Tik was with us he turned the bathroom tap on while we were asleep. We woke up to a flooded bathroom and water dripping from the living room ceiling. We had to put holes in the ceiling to drain the water before the lot came down all the electricity was out. Patches has only killed the printer that he knocked off the side. Those safety staps look brilliant LTS3 I'm getting some.

Wait till you get a cat that discovers he can flush the toilet at 2..0am in the morning..grr
Never a dull day (or night!) with a cat! Lol.

In my house I often find myself running after the culprit (usually its the two younger ones Graham and Oreo), and often times in my haste I trip and fall, and just stay there on the floor while I yell or cry or laugh, or all of it at the same time! 😂

She is gorgeous and worth way more than money. <3

When our kittens grow up, we're going to miss these days. I think I'm actually enjoying the butthead adolescent stage more than I did the cute, fluffy baby stage this time around, probably because of the regular contact with other people with same-aged kittens.

True. Even now after I have calmed down, I would laugh later thinking about what just happened. My husband would always tell me when I am mad, "Later I would be seeing you kissing those cats as if nothing happened."

Which is true. LOL.
