I think it sticks to her bum after going to the toilet but I can´t see it because she wont let me pick her up yet. I think I will ask the vet when we go back in 2 weeks to shave her bum and hopefully that will make the smell go away.

There's a picture of her in post 18, she looks pretty fluffy.

How firm is her poop I izzyiess ? If it is a bit soft try adding a spoonful of plain, cooked pumpkin to her wet food. That helps to firm up stool.
Whoops just now saw your reply. Her poop is not soft but also not hard. Just normal I guess? The smell went sort of away for some days but now it is back and I only smell it when I am close under te bed. I cant see anything but it smells absolutely horriblestill have not spotted any poop on her and when she walks by I also don´t smell anything. It is so weird :confused2:

I did find another flat coin size of poo on the ground again. It was all dried up and smelled the same as under the bed. But when I remove it the smell does not go away. Im moving friday so the room will be all cleaned and empty. Maybe I will find more poop, I have no idea hahah. Before I move into my new place I would like to give her a bath and cut the hairs at her bum myself. I know she is not going to like it but I really dont want that horrible smell in my new appartment.. any tips for cat bathing?

Get a professional to do it!

No, seriously. It can be quite challenging to bathe a cat and if you need to give her a trim too it's even more difficult. Cats squirm around a lot and there is a chance she could get cut by scissors or electric trimmers. Forest, the Persian in my avatar, is not feral by any means, but he has to be lightly sedated by our vet before he gets a hair cut.

Your vet will be able to give her a sanitary shave, which means around her butt and also the long hair on her inner thighs and lower belly. It's much easier of you have the vet sedate her and do this. Less upset and chance of injury for both of you.

Has she been spayed yet? The vet can give her a haircut and do any blood work she needs doing at the same time as spaying her.

So I just want to leave an update here on Otis. She is with us for 6 months now and is doing absolutely amazing. As soon as we moved to our new appartement she became the most friendly and sweetest cat. She loves attention and running around the house like crazy. She is not scared of me and my partner at all anymore (only with strangers in the house, she stills hides ). She constantly wants to cuddle and meows when we leave for work in the morning (or when we try to sleep ). I am so happy and gratefull to have such an amazing cat. I would have never thought she would become the way she is when we first got her. She absolutely hates strangers but thats fine with me. I recently bought a leash and I am now training her to go for walks outside. She loves it! Thank you all again for the great help when we first got her
