Almost a good enough reason to get one - I've not been a fan so far LOLIt's even easier with an Instant Pot. I can turn out a batch of stock from meaty bones to stock in the fridge in under two hours.

I've been keeping up with Feeby's thread and thinking the same for awhile. Every time I think to reply, I have to remind myself, this is Feeby's thread and Krista has her own. Unless of course I believe a tip from Krista would be helpful with Feeby.

I’m told that baked in smell of whatever you used your Instant Pot with is the silicone insert in the lid. If I get another insert, the beans I can cook from dry in 20 minutes won’t smell (or taste) like Krista’s rabbit stock. For now, the Instant Pot is hers.Almost a good enough reason to get one - I've not been a fan so far LOL
The crock pot is also hers. The dining room is hers. I converted that into her playground/path to the kitchen counter. That kitchen counter we share. But she's welcome to supervise her meal prep. The other kitchen counter that has the stove and microwave, that is not hers and does not have a path to it. That really may be the only thing that is not shared in our house. That and the toilet. Sorry but I don't trust those new low-flow toilets the property installed. I used to be okay with lifting the lid after she barfed because I knew she would re-hydrate. That water gets changed more often than her fountain.LOL - See Krista? If you didn't know already, you're the Queen of the house

As I found out this past weekend when she was at the vet, she is the glue that keeps this house together. She is the reason I clean the dishes and do the laundry. Well, the fleas are the reason I do the laundry.

Poor thing, you are doing an amazing job with herShoot! Liquid poops! I hope it’s only the olive oil I put on her matted fur. The mat came out though. I sure hope we don’t have a return of clostridium. I don’t think she has enough in her to do that again. I got her to take half an s boulardii with her last meal.
I also may have found a way to get her to eat more canned. She seems to already understand or imagine her food causing her pain trying to pick it up. I’ve found or she’s found that picking at or picking up a small pile is much easier than trying to get through a larger pile. So if i segment the meal into tiny “bite-sized”’ piles on the plate than they look like less of a commitment and she already had several bites of the new plate.
Sounds like she'll be eating well for awhile! And yes, that nook should be made just big enough for you both to fit into it, right?I’m very proud of her and a little bit nervous. She ate an ounce for lunch. It took three plates because I wasn’t sure she would eat half that. But I’m also a little nervous because the last time she ate really well, her food was moving too quickly through her to be digested. After last night’s soup poops, I decided not to mirtz her this morning. Stabilize the poop before I force her to feed.
We’re already at 2 oz today and I’ll probably get another half oz in her before my afternoon break. We got to 5.25 oz yesterday. I hope we can do same or better today.
I processed half a dozen turkey thighs yesterday cutting away meat for food and leaving a lot of meat on the bones to have some cooked turkey to offer her too. Cooked turkey makes a great treat when I’ve given her a wet willy because she doesn’t need teeth for it like every other treat we have. I should have about three or four lbs worth of meat. I will make a new batch of food tonight that had B-vitamin complex and no egg yolks. We’ll see if she still likes it. Otherwise, I have more meat to make another batch the way she likes it.
She just crawled under the bookcase for a post meal nap. I’m a little jealous because I’d love a good nap myself and that nook of hers looks cozy!

I picked up CBD gummies to help me sleep. I took one last night and all I remember was being able to go back to sleep like my eyelids were a weighted blanket for the rest of my body. Best of all, I didn’t wake up with a melatonin or diphenhydramine hangover. Did she dance on me? A couple of times. I’m a side sleeper. She likes to ride my belly. Often times I’ll roll onto my back long enough for her to get her fill. But last night, I couldn’t be bothered. I was enjoying my CBD sleep. I remember her riding my hip though. She’s so adorable and endearing when she does that. “I’ll take what I can get.”Yes, good jobby on eating miss Krista... but did she dance over your sleeping body?
