I'm into this group now, from New Zealand, Alien Weaponry. They sing in Maori, and are part Maori themselves. Warning: the video shows bare Maori warrior bottoms. Not that I'm complainging, mind you, but I just thought I should alert you, LOL... The song is called Kai Tangata.

My favorite band ( if you call them that?) is called American Murder Song. They are very underground and sing about dark American history. I fell in love with the work of Terrance with a musical movie called "Repo!: The genetic opera!"

I was actually able to meet Terrance in person ( twice now!!) and he and his musical partner Saar are the most amazing people ever! While some people may see this kind of music as strange, I really an glad I cat a chance to share it. Below is one of their most loved songs " Pretty Lavinia" about a woman who was a bartender and killed people

Interesting. But not quite my "cup of tea". ;)

Guys, Moshow's got a new track! Sadly, he's lost one of his furbabies
RIP sweet kitty.

Is it just me who enjoys listening to the new album by Taylor Swift?
I don't listen to entire albums much these days. Well, other than Bon Jovi, who is my favourite band, and then I have to be in the mood to listen to an entire album. :)

Welcome to our music thread, and to TCS. :wave2: If you'd like to "formally" introduce yourself and your cat(s), we have a New Cats on the Block forum. :compsurfing:

I've been exploring early electronic music lately-
I'm not a fan of electronic music, but others who've posted here are. :musicnote:

We "met" already in new cats on the block forum, but welcome to our music thread. :wave2: That was an "interesting" song. Not sure if I actually liked it or not, but I now have "Pretty Lavinia" stuck in my head.

As the biggest Bon Jovi fan on this site (at least I think I am), it's my "obligation" to post their songs every now and then. ;)

So here's a Bon Jovi song from 1995 that I don't think I've posted before.

If That's What It Takes - Bon Jovi

I like her country songs better, there is more of a story to them.

I'm Bon Jovi's 2nd biggest fan then. I like all their music. I never heard that song, what album is it from?

Cats That's It
Demi loved the cat in that song! He came in my bedroom all excited, looking for a new kitty friend.

It's from These Days - release in 1995. It's probably their darkest album.
These Days (Bon Jovi album) - Wikipedia

And when the night is cold and dark
You can see, you can see light
Cause no one can take away your right
To fight and never surrender

Never Surrender - Corey Hart - Lyrics Version (1985)

Never Surrender - Corey Hart - Official Video (1985)

Lari Lari : when you get here, you don't have to listen to both versions.

Nice to see another electronic music fan here on the forum....I don't think there are many of us. :(

Since you are listening to Michael Rother, I assume you are familiar with his work with Neu and Harmonia. Good stuff. :cool2: I lean more to the Berlin School electronic music by folks like Tangerine Dream, Klaus Schulze, Node, and more recently Redshift.

Well, I was intrigued enough to subscribe to them on Youtube. Personally, I wish someone would name a band "Bare Maori Warrior Bottoms."

And now, I give you my selection. It isn't great shakes as an actual song, Pink Floyd has done far better, but it is my FAVORITE SONG TITLE EVER, hands down! The full title is, "Several Species of Small Furry Animals Gathered Together in a Cave, and Grooving with a Pict."
