I have 2 kittens supposedly 5 to 6 weeks old, recently they been pooping liquid and getting their whole bottom side poop, so i have been forced to butt bathe them, anyways i took them to the vet they gave them a pill, and gave me some sort of sirnge with liquied told me to give them 1 everyday for 7 days, and not to feed them wet food or fourlma milk until they get better, issue is they just wont eat the dry food! iv been monitoring them for a day they BEARLY ate quarter of the bowl im worried about their health at this point. also another thing i 2 weeks ago when they gave them ear medicain for insects Bella was falling while walking shes all good now, they told me its cuz of the medicain, now Luna is falling while walking i dont know if its also because of the medican or what.

What is the name of the medication?

They sound dehydrated. I have never heard of withholding wet food or formula in kittens this age even while on medication.

Please immediately give them their milk and wet food as you did before, which should be several times a day. They are starving! Also finish the medication. They should begin to feel better and act better as soon as they get the nutrition they need!

Please update!

Did they eat well?

That looks like a soft tissue injury. A cortisone shot from the vet would cure it.

Do the kittens tussle together a lot? If so, or even if she jumped down from somewhere, she may have landed wrong and have a soft tissue injury or sprain. The cortisone would give her relief.

You might want to try a different vet who has more kitten experience.

Thank you for saving these kittens! I read your other thread. :)

She does jump a lot up and down I would put landing wrongly as a possible source of the limping, if I carry her she does move her leg normally and she does use it to tap me or food bowl or get into little box, it's just when she walks she won't put weight on it, I would gladly take her to the wett, but I spend around 500$ already on the vet within 1 week of buying the kittens, I won't be getting my salary until 2 weeks from now and I'm completely Brock let alone I borrowed 100$ from a friend, what should I do I am so worried

Don’t worry! It will probably heal on its own in the meantime. Soft tissue injury is like bruising. If she is still limping when you get paid you can take her to the vet.

I’m concerned right now if they are eating good meals. Are they?

If you don't mind me asking, what exactly did the vet do that cost $500.

OK so I spend some on full check up when I got them keep in mind price doubled since they are 2, then I was told they have insects in their ears, had to pay another fees for medication, then came back in 1 week for ear check up or was fine but they poop water I told them about it they gave them a pill, and those liquid drug thingy for 7 days, and ear cleaning liquid. Yap that's all

They are way too young to just be eating dry food, they are probably too little and don't understand the concept of it yet :( Wet food is easier to lap up. And for wet poop, if its like diarrhea, what I did when mine were little, get some human baby rice, human baby chicken baby food(no onion or garlic), and mix a little bit of kitten formula in it, and its a nice easy texture to lap up, and the baby rice is good for helping with the poop, and all together the nutrients from rice, and baby food and formula is a good way to get extra calories and nutrients in them. I hope they feel better!

Royal Canin kitten formula is excellent. It will not cause diarrhea. The Albon medicine might, but it is helping them. In the meantime, give them their milk in addition to their wet food. :)
