That cat was an enigma to the breeder and trouble with a capitol "T" to me..he was a menace in every way. He was the result of breeding with a chocolate /silver Bengal and a snow...2 of his siblings came out black..one perfect copy of mother and he came out like a sort of chocolate/red ginger tabby..gene throw back breeder said, the whole litter come out basically wrong..dont know enough about it myself but got him because he was so outrageous even as a kitten (type of cats I enjoy) :)
Here he is helping himself to some eggs!!

You ever see your cat stuck, so you unstick them-and they go right back to what they were doing? :rolleyes2: i dont really think she was stuck but its hard to tell sometimes so i get her little paws free just in case-and she hooks them right back into the screen. Thank god its cat proof.

This is what i deal with on the daily.

It happens! I have protective covers on my dining room chairs and Elvis likes to jump up on my lap when I'm having breakfast or lunch there. If he hooks his claw in the cover, I help him -- and and sometimes he repeats it. I encourage him to bypass the cover and just jump.

x + y = z

Please solve for z where x equals Lily, a cat who loves tomatoes, and y equals a cutting board that was completely clean when we went to bed.

I thoroughly understand you Tobermory! I have learnt not to leave anything edible on the kitchen or dining room tables otherwise Sombra would decide they

are at her disposal.

There can only be one plausible explanation.

Lily valliantly fought off a "cat" burglar who crept into your kitchen and stole one of your tomatoes. Lily deserves a reward....perhaps a tomato?

I’m sure you must be right because how many times have I said to Lily (as she sat at my feet whining for a tomato as I made the salad): “Lily, what part of being an obligate carnivore do you not understand?” I mean we talked about this, she and I. So perhaps a reward for her bravery is in order...and perhaps I will keep the tomatoes in the cupboard from now on.

When she and her sister were kittens, they stole a bag of tomatoes from the counter—the ones than come in the red mesh bags—dragged the bag down the hall and up the stairs to a carpeted bedroom (light beige carpet) and preceded to smash the tomatoes into a pulp in an attempt to get them from the bag. So cute. :sigh:

A long time ago, in a land far, far away, there was a memPURR of our FURmily who loved sardines in tomato sauce.

:lolup::crackup::flail::cutecat:
It is not what I think that matters Tarasgirl, the question is with you as all kittens Feline Lawyer is it possible to condemn any feline trespasser? :gaah:

Eeeuw. Good girl, but eeeuw. Better check under your bed to make sure she didn’t leave pieces parts behind. A friend and I were studying for a class in her living room and smelled something dead. We found a chipmunk head under a chair. Eeuw.

Oh yeah, she thinks she's the shizz now, she's just been lounging around all day like "my work is done here"

This reminds me of a situation in my younger daughter's home. She has 4 dogs and 4 cats who spend most of their time in the back yard although they are free to come in and out of the house at their will. One of the cats, always the same one, brings to my daughter an alive mouse in her mouth. Clora takes the mouseand holds it against her chest until it "wakes up" and takes it away far from her house. This has happened 3 times over a period of several weeks. Clora scolds the cat but she isn't sure she understands why.

Would you say this is naughty?

Of course not, i was being facetious when i called Honeybun naughty-there isnt an "my cat caught a mouse-pics!" thread so i figured naughty cats was close enough... plus it IS naughty to bring it up on my bed, lol.

I attempted a rescue but it was hard to get it from her and obviously injured, so at that point the most humane thing was to let her finish the job. I dont like seeing any animal hurt but there wasnt much i could do.

But in HB and your daughters cases both-no naughtiness, just cats being cats :)
