Sending you tons of love and prayers that you're ok through the storm!!
We were okay, thank you so much! Portifoy got another skin infection and is back on steroids. The vet hasn't given much info on how to stop his outbreaks- it's as if he's allergic to everything. Even the flea meds I try hurt him.

Oh gosh, poor baby!! I don't think this has been mentioned, but it may be helpful if not as a cure but to ease the discomfort;

from @Mamanyt1953
use a wash of chilled chamomile tea. The nice thing about this is that is it antibacterial, anti fungal, and amazingly soothing for ALL skin irritations. Buy the tea bags from your grocer's coffee/tea aisle, and make sure it is ONLY chamomile, no blends (that will be right on the main label). I recommend the commercial bags because they are ALWAYS made with German Chamomile, and the English variety that is common in gardens is toxic to cats. Brew a cup, chill it in the fridge, and apply it with a clean cotton ball or similar.

Have you tried coconut oil or vitamin E?

How are things going?
Hey there. Sorry, my notifications would not load.
Portifoy is actually doing so much better - the little Buddha has even lost some weight.
Now I have just been plagued with a ping pong of a URI virus among my babies. Sooo much careful quarantining, medicating, and syringe feeding.

Just thought I'd check in, what with all that's going on and see how you're doing?

Things are bad. He ended up with a urethral blockage and a bladder full of crystals and stones. He's now showing the same symptoms and he's losing hair and skin.
But my dad having three major surgeries back to back and draining his 401k to pay for them has left us with nothing. I think I trusted a scam lender to get us money, and now it's even worse and I'm just so scared and miserable.

If you'd like more information regarding the suggestions below please let me or catsknowme know. We're sending you tons of love and prayers!
This is from catsknowme catsknowme ;
I have had good results with using marshmallow root decoction for urinary & kidney ailments. Slippery elm works well too. I also often add red raspberry leaf tea to help ease the spasms & cramping pain.
