Does anyone know anything about M maggiedemi

She has been missing for a long time. Last we heard she was not feeling well..

I worry about her.

Any word???
Hi. I'm here. I was in the hospital dying, but I'm not sure if anybody believes me. I can't get too upset because of the staples. Leave any questions and I will try to answer. I'm still very sick. :redheartpump: Love you all.

AHHHH! OH MY GOD!!
I'm crying right now. I missed you so much M maggiedemi !

My heart leaped when I saw the notification.
It was my own stupid fault. I missed you guys too. The Medicaid lady was there as I was dying. She said I'll help you fix your life. So many people helped me. I have to learn to walk again.

I can't even begin to imagine. We were all so worried and hoping/praying you'd see our messages and come back. You made my day, I had a rough weekend and you coming back has made everything better.

Was it because of your tooth? I remember you saying something about an exposed root, right? Is that better? How are you overall now? Improving?

No, it was Anorexia. Poor Karen Carpenter. She couldn't survive it, and I almost didn't. My bowels busted into my stomach. I've been doing it for years. Let's play a song for that dear girl tonight.

I am so glad to see that you are back. I was worried about you.
Thank you so much. I'll need your support over the next year while I heal. I just can't get too upset or get into any political fights. You know how sensitive I am. It's a crazy story, I should write a book. They tried so hard to save me, but it took me a week to start fighting for myself. Those nurses are angels. They fought so hard for me when I wouldn't fight for myself!

If you need to chat I have experience as a peer specialist doing just that for people going through tough times. Feel free if you need an encouraging hug or shoulder. I also highly recommend that if you can, find a non-crisis hotline for your area. I used to work for one and we've helped so many people in all kinds of situations. If you have to scream and cry, they're good people for helping you through. :hug

I'm having a really hard time because my parents' house is really old and the bathroom is hard for me to navigate with staples down my whole stomach. Anybody got any ideas or experience with staples?

Your care team/the hospital should have post-op care instructions. If they did not give them to you, perhaps someone can contact them for these? I don't have experience, but if it is safe, perhaps wrapping the area temporarily with bandage/gauze would help, ONLY if the hospital/care team okays it.

OH BABY, we were SO worried! SO SO WORRIED! I've had a candle lit for you, and will keep it lit until you are healed again. In fact, I'll keep one burning for you until you are well again, which is a whole 'nother thing. You are so very loved here, you know! Would you consider contacting one of us whom you trust as a contact person, so that we KNOW if you need us, even if it is only prayers??? Just PM ANY one of us to exchange phone numbers!

M maggiedemi : So glad you're back. So many of us were so worried about you. The forum, particularly the music thread, has not been the same without you. So when you feel up to it, hang out there, posting Matchbox 20 songs, and anything else you like.

And know we'll be here throughout your recovery, whether it's to lend an ear, send healing vibes, or remind you to always take care of yourself.

Yes! Exactly what I needed. I will see if dad has any tall buckets. They are in their 70s, they can't really take care of me.
Anything sturdy like that could be used -- a stool, a short cat condo!, a box, a chair -- anything that's about that height and that stays put.

Dad said he doesn't have any high buckets. He gave me his old cane. Oh Lordy. That did not work.:lol::lol:

I'll take a walk around the house and see what I can find. My parents are hoarders so I might find something. I don't think I'm supposed to go down cellar yet. Another story- the ambulance couldn't get inside to get me on the gurney because of their hoarding! They had to walk me out while I was screaming for Morphine. I didn't even know what that was, but I know my ex used it for pain.

Oh my gosh!!! M maggiedemi , youre back!

I had no idea you weren't eating. I knew your tooth was in bad shape, and I was worried about you. I'm soooo glad they were able to save you. Our music thread really hasn't been the same without you, and I hope catching up on the music will help you heal.

You've been in my prayers and will continue to be as you heal.
