Hard Lump Near Where Rabies Vaccine Was

So I adopted Wren, my kitten, a week ago today.
She was at petsmart and brought in by a rescue near us. The paper work we got for her is all kinds of confusing, the paper from the rescue says she is 3 months old (she is TINY, under 3 pounds, I doubt she is 3 months old based off that and how her teeth look.), spayed,
Where as the paper from petsmart says she is NOT spayed(she clearly has a shaved tummy and stitches though), and is 1 month 17 days old.
The paper that said she was spayed also says she has had her rabies vaccine. I was very confused because she seems WAY too young, and the conflicting ages on the paperwork.

A day or so after having her I noticed a kind of hard, but moveable lump near her right leg/hip bone, and I think it may be because of her rabies vaccination. I am very worried, but can't find much on google about cats rather than dogs so I figured id ask here. has anybody ever had this come up after rabies vaccine?
it doesn't just seem like swelling, which is why I am so concerned. it doesn't really feel attached to anything.
I am very upset about the conflicting paperwork and I just hope this baby will be okay. we are going to the vet tomorrow morning but I am worried sick so I just wanted to post here to hopefully calm myself down and get some answers.

also, to clarify, it is even more confusing because the paper work that says she is spayed and rabies vaccinated is dated BEFORE the one that says she isn't spayed or vaccinated. ???? also, the lump is about the size of a marble.

I can't say much about all the rest (age, spaying and so on) but the lump after the rabies vaccine happened to my cat. Same size, same place. My vet said it was relatively common, and that that's why they do that particular vaccine on the hip/leg area, so owners can keep an eye on it. She said so long as the lump was getting smaller with time (I don't remember the exact timeline she gave me though - maybe a couple weeks? sorry!) and not painful or growing, it was fine!

Ah! thank you so much. Some of the stuff on google was pretty scary and I feel much better now.

This happened to my Evie when we first adopted her and she had he second round of shots. The vet told me to rub it daily (gently) and it went away on its own after a week. She has not had a reaction since then with any sort of booster.

Do you think you accidentally got paperwork from two different cats? I don't think you would spay a one month old.

Possibly, there is clearly something very off about her paperwork since it basically says opposite info, the only thing is that her shelter given name was on both. I do think she was spayed because she has a shaved belly and stitches, but we are about to see the vet. I would put her now at about 2 months old, but she was apparently spayed on 7/1 if the paperwork is correct. Hopefully the vet can help answer some questions and concerns! We are also contemplating calling the rescue.

The homeopathic remedy Thuja 30c is the remedy for vaccine reactions.

I found out about Thuja years ago when I took Jojo for his second series of shots. He had an extremely bad reaction. He was curled up in a tight loaf, trembling, hissing, screaming when I tried to lift him and looked like he was sweating. I found a forum where someone specifically posted how to use the Thuja. (Bless their soul!). It was a Sunday so the only an emergency veterinarian would be open and I couldn't afford another expense like that. I went to Whole Foods and bought the blue vial of tiny white tablets. I used a shot glass and put in about two tablespoons of bottled water with two Thija tablets. The forum direction was to not touch the tablets (I don't know why), but shake them into the water. The tablets don't dissolve right away so I crushed them with the end handle of a butter knife. Once crushed they dissolved easily and the water will be clear. There is no taste or odor. I used a glass dropper and suctioned the water up, then placed the tip along Jojo's inside cheek, slightly under his tongue. He took the water readily and I gave him the rest. He went from being unable to move, trembling, and hissing to being able to get off the bed and begin drinking water within a couple of hours. Since then, every time I adopt I give my cats Thuja, because in my experiences they are often given immunizations shortly before they leave to their new homes. I realize Jojo had an extreme experience, but the forum I read at the time talked about dogs and cats who had these experiences and many died from reactions. All the while the blame was placed on everything but the vaccines. Thuja helps suspend the adverse nasty stuff in vaccines and move it through the body, so it can't cling/attach to the kidneys. A cats kidneys can shut down because of the nasty stuff in vaccines. That's my simplistic understanding. Maybe someone else would care to go into greater detail. Thuja does not harm the animal. I keep it on hand. I have not tried drops, and don't know if there are any. I also gave Nola Thuja when I got her home (she's 9, so this was years ago) when I noticed the same hissing and sweaty sort of look with her. Not wanting to go through the same experience, I remembered Jojo's and what to do. Within a couple of hours the behavior stopped. I don't believe it was coincidence. I have given my daughter a vial of Thuja because she has companion animals as well. Where she lives there is a requirement for even more frequent Rabies vaccination. Thank you for posting Thuja right away! I am so relieved that it is becoming more known!

I refuse to vaccinate my cats any more. None of them go outside. Leo got a rabies shot when he was neutered and Loki got a distemper shot but Mouse hasn't had any. They are my three youngest at 3 years old. Patches is my old lady cat. She's 14. She's had rabies and distemper shots and boosters every 3 years, which I've come to realize is just too much. I stopped vaccinating her a few years ago. My brother's cats have all been vaccinated and won't receive any more. My Bounder had an awful reaction to the live rabies vaccine that the vet talked me into. I took him to another vet a few years later and told her about the reaction and her reply was "We don't even offer the live rabies vaccine." He passed away a year ago to kidney disease. I am thoroughly convinced that all this over-vaccination (every three years) over the cat's life is what causes kidney failure. So far Patche's kidneys seem to be functioning fine. It's her liver that we're coddling right now. Still trying to figure out what caused her liver to start complaining though. I'm glad to hear that thuja helped your kitties.

update! the vet confirmed that the lump is from the rabies vaccine. she said in the next three months it should slowly go away, but if it doesn't we will need to get it biopsied.
thank you everybody for your replies and advice, I will definitely be looking more into vaccine reactions.
