So I adopted Wren, my kitten, a week ago today.
She was at petsmart and brought in by a rescue near us. The paper work we got for her is all kinds of confusing, the paper from the rescue says she is 3 months old (she is TINY, under 3 pounds, I doubt she is 3 months old based off that and how her teeth look.), spayed,
Where as the paper from petsmart says she is NOT spayed(she clearly has a shaved tummy and stitches though), and is 1 month 17 days old.
The paper that said she was spayed also says she has had her rabies vaccine. I was very confused because she seems WAY too young, and the conflicting ages on the paperwork.
A day or so after having her I noticed a kind of hard, but moveable lump near her right leg/hip bone, and I think it may be because of her rabies vaccination. I am very worried, but can't find much on google about cats rather than dogs so I figured id ask here. has anybody ever had this come up after rabies vaccine?
it doesn't just seem like swelling, which is why I am so concerned. it doesn't really feel attached to anything.
I am very upset about the conflicting paperwork and I just hope this baby will be okay. we are going to the vet tomorrow morning but I am worried sick so I just wanted to post here to hopefully calm myself down and get some answers.
