I LOVE BJ with his glasses!

I was a little worried about BJ yesterday because he didn’t eat very well. Today I have him his usual food but tonight he got some chicken and broth. He ate well and seems very content tonight. I caught the following photos of him sleeping beside me on the sofa.
He seems to be dreaming of being a kitten again... or maybe of eating chicken.

He keeps kneading his paws.

Back paws too.

That looks like a full tummy to me.

My little buddy.

He gets more chicken tomorrow!

He is our little lover. I feel like he belongs with everybody. He is a community cat who just lives here.

Bj has been on antibiotic ointment for his eye. It was looking a little different to me so...... vet check! His eye is looking okay but I just got worried. He seemed to be holding one eye a little closed. Still applying the ointment for a couple of days. BJ gave me a wonderful thank you note. He presented me with a lovely hairball when I was barefooted tonight.
Mitsy and the others have been helping by applying love.

Hmmmm. Wonder if this is what happened to his eye? Too much sugar?

Unless someone licks your opened eye...which was apparently a thing for awhile in human kids, with some very nasty results.

I hope the antibiotic ointment clears up what is ailing his eye and he's back to his peppy self soon. As for too much sugar, tell him to keep his paw out of the cookie jar.

neely Thank you. He appears to be better. Today we had someone drilling into the concrete slab of the house to re do the termite treatment and BJ was wide eyed for that!
He immediatly got some comfort from one of his “girls!” Lol

Good luck with the drilling into the concrete slab to redo the termite treatment. I think BJ needs a red cape to be the next kitty superhero - faster than a speeding laser bolt, more powerful than Da Bird, able to leap tall cat trees in a single bound!

In my post, I was trying to type “ Sir Licks a lot !” Spell check is always causing me to retype so many times, I mess it up myself!

You realize that I am going to have to get BJ a cape now!

Thinking back....When I first met BJ he was always coming out from behind a tree.

And donned a disguise!

Now I understand why he likes the glasses! He’s the Clark Kent of the kitty world!
