There is a wet food called Core Classic smooth that is a thick pate with gravy like consistency and could be liquified with just a little water. It is 12% protein which is pretty good for a relatively inexpensive wet food and my cat loves it.

If your question is about leaving the excess food out for the feral cats and wild animals, I do that all the time. Just try to put it in a place where it won't be a problem.

If you have friends, co-workers, etc who have cats, offer them the food. Or offer the food to a shelter or group that takes care of ferals.

I found my penny at a dumpster starving. So I’m sure cats like her would appreciate it. However I’m sure there are a lot of other types of animals you’re feeding too. Like raccoons and opossum. If you’re ok with that then I don’t see an issue with it.

He means the food that the cats have already licked the gravy off. Pretty sure the shelter doesn't want it, lol.

Keep in mind that if they are just eating the gravy they aren't getting a balanced meal so hopefully that isn't all they are being fed. There are lots of other brands that make pate not just Friskies, some are even more soupy then others.

I toss out old meat to the wildlife and any dumped animals on my acreage from time to time too. Just know that cat food and food scraps don't just attract/feed cats. Espeically if you live in town or in a city it can attract rats and other "less desirable" animals close to buildings that can cause more harm then good.

My momma possum gets all my left over cat food. She comes right up to my porch to eat it. I like a tick free yard ;)

I would try a food like Tiki Cat Mousse for your gravy lover :)

I have a senior cat that doesn’t know any form of food that’s not liquid or dry is food. What I do is get pate mix it with muse gravy and chicken broth. I then put it in my nutribullet and pulverize it until it’s soup. I use a fine strainer to get the left over and boom soup.

You could add water to it, this is what i do. I add water, she laps it up, I add more water, this continues all day whenever I noticed she drank all the water. I add a bit more. Then eventually she finishes it all and added bonus, she is super hydrated!

Also, why should your roommate care or have any say in what you do with your cats leftover food? Also who says you have to listen to her....
