it looks like a hole almost inside of it. It’s nowhere else on his body

In the first picture, it almost looks like two holes. Possibly a bite of some sort...maybe a small snake if there are two? If only one, then I would suspect a spider bite. Does it seem to bother him? If not, then I would keep an eye on it and if it gets any larger, or is hot to the touch or if there is any reaction at all other than the loss the current amount of fur I would get him in to be seen by a professional (Vet). Hopefully it's not anything serious :crossfingers:

Hard to tell, wonder if it could be ring worm? if you have a UV light the spores would fluoresce, But most likely looks like a wound of sorts

Thank you for the reply, I just added some new photos that might be a little more clear. Could this be from ticks or fleas?

Any news/update?

Not likely from fleas or ticks, but I suppose anything is possible. Does your cat go outside? If so, could be a wound from another animal or something he injured himself on while roaming around.

You didn't respond to mrsgreenjeens mrsgreenjeens question about whether or not it is bothering him. Is it?

If you haven't already, I think I would be best to get it checked out by your vet just to be on the safe side. If it should be something like ringworm, treatment sooner than later is better. That also applies if it is a wound of some sort. He may need antibiotics and some topical treatment.

If he does go outside, I would stop him from doing so until you get this resolved.

ARE those two little black "dots" small punctures? If so I think it's probably a bite of some sort, which really makes me think snake, but it would have to be a pretty teeny one. I really don't think this is fleas or ticks simply because of those marks.
