Sometimes I think that anything can happen when you walk around in my city... you never know what you will see. Sure enough, it's a great day when you come across a utility pole with flowering myrtle branches! Very pretty!

( Just kidding! We just found a few flowering myrtle trees basking in the early morning sunlight. A huge utility pole managed to photobomb my shot.)
A beautiful scene! Thanks for sharing it with us!

The sun is out and the temps are supposed to get up to 80. :sunshine: We plan to go to the farmer's market and take a long walk by the lake.
Well the weather report was wrong, again - what a surprise! :yelling: Instead of 80 and sunny it was cloudy and 60. But we didn't let that stop us from enjoying the day. We still went to the farmer's market and talked to so many wonderful vendors. I bought a zucchini bread from a new vendor. Their mission is:
To empower women from underserved communities with the training, knowledge, and support to forge a new and more economically-secure career path.

I was singing along with the radio this morning. The song playing was Forever Young by Rod Stewart. When I began singing "may good fortune be with you and your guiding light be strong, build a stairway to heaven with a prince or a vagabond" my Vincie girl, who is DEAF!!, began talking or singing!! She had
been quiet up to that point. Maybe she isn't as deaf as she seems? So cute!
:musicnote::woohoo::jive:
I have a deaf friend. She definitely feels “Good Vibrations.” You were sending those out to Vincie! That news made it a beautiful day for us all!

It's not raining (!) and the temps are moderating, so I was outside doing some work in the gardens when I saw the first hummingbird of the season. It was, believe it or not, checking the locations where we hang the feeders each year, so Michele is making up some food for them. I guess this means that spring has finally arrived.
Yay for Spring and Hummers!

Hi everybody! I took some selfies!! XOXO Sophie

Happy Caturday!!! :cloud9: :heartshape:
Happy :sunshine:Sunday Sophie!

I had my very first dance recital today and while I messed up several steps, I did not fall on my face. I'll consider it a win.
Happy Anniversary! You definitely have a win there and with your recital! Awesome! I wish I could have been there to see you dance. I took dance when I was young and I still remember my first recital. Sweet memories of excited nerves. :)

I think it’s great that support is being given there. Many need that!

It was a beautiful end to the day here.

Nice selfie Sophie! You'll have to teach my cats how to do that. :bicolorcat::vancat:

zucchini bread
That sounds yummy, veggie bread. :yummy:

Pretty. You know I love the purplish-pink sunsets. ;)

I've been taking tap dancing classes for almost two years now
That's exciting. Are you going to be in a show? :cheerleader:

I donated some dog and cat food, toys, and an old carrier to the thrift store. I was going to sell my bike because I didn't feel like riding it anymore but then I placed Mordecai in the front basket and thought we could explore the city together...

Got a lot done today in terms of getting rid of some old stuff in the house. I hope this productivity continues.

My husband and I had been trying for a baby for three years and to our surprise when we quit trying, I became pregnant. I am currently 22 weeks along and today was my gender reveal party and I found out I'm having a little girl. We are so excited! :hearthrob:

Congrats and kudos to your DH and you! :bouquet: I just got home from buying a baby gift for the son/daughter-in-law of a good friend. They had a boy.

And practice leads to being graceful (unless you're like me, and the Queen of Clumsy);)
You should join my Zumba class, we have 3 levels of expertise and everyone is friendly. We enjoy the music and no one is critical or judgmental.

I enjoy watching the tv show, Sunday Morning on CBS. Today it took place in Northern Italy, so scenic and historical. I was mesmerized by the views. :rbheart:
