Just sharing.
I have been feeding this homeless cat ( I named Snow White) for several months already, since from our previous apartment. She was pregnant back then, very thin and obviously just getting by with what she could find to eat outside. My husband made a tiny house for her outside our kitchen. When she gave birth only 1 survived (which I found under the stairs of the apartment complex bldg). After just a while we suddenly moved to another apartment, but could not leave Snow White and her kitty (I named her Bailey) behind, so we brought Snow white and Bailey to the new apartment, where Snow White again stayed outside. Bailey was adopted out after several weeks of looking for a forever home.

We contacted a government vet clinic and Snow white was already scheduled for spay when we found out she was again pregnant, so the vet said he’d do the spaying after the new kitties are weaned. Yesterday morning Snow white seemed to be restless and scratching from the outside of our front door, so I decided to let her in (much to the displeasure of my indoor cats) as I suspected she could be giving birth at anytime soon. When we returned from work, I found all these 5 in the litter box!

Here they are now after I transferred them in a crate.

Congratulations to me! Now I need forever homes for each after three months!

Thanks, guys. As soon as I have them all checked by the vet, if possible, including spay/neuter, I will have to adopt them out. Fingers crossed.

So far, my Bourbon is still sulking in one corner. She absolutely hates anything and anyone new. LOL.

Maria Bayote Maria Bayote May you be many times blessed for your kindness, compassion and protection of these beautiful innocents and may ALL of them thrive and find loving permanent homes!
Thank you for the kind words. It is just hard letting them go when the time is up. Until now I have contacts with all the owners of all my previous cats (and dog) I have managed to find homes. I just need to ensure myself time and time again that I indeed got them the homes they deserve. I always remind them that if things do not work out, just return the cat to me. Only to me.

That's amazing! Thank you so much for Helping Snow White and her kittens. I'm sure they'll be very adoptable now that they're going to be raised indoors.

Good luck!
Thank you. I will update you guys. :)
Soon I will have little munchkins running all over the apartment. I am excited.

You're a special person to do this. I see so many animals mistreated that it's people like you who let me sleep at night. Thank you!
Thank you for the kind words, but what I do is not even 1/4 of what others are selflessly doing for the animals. It is sometimes frustrating not to be able to do a bit more. My highest respect for all animal activists and rescuers out there. Such wonderful and amazing people.

We all feel that way at times, Maria Bayote Maria Bayote -- but we are all essential in this labor of love, and each one doing whatever (s)he is able to do contributes to the whole effort. EVERYONE is important in this. And never doubt that what you are doing is important -- just keep doing it. We're all in this for the long haul, and we WILL reach our goal if we all keep that in mind.

It is so caring of you to ask that any cat who is not successful in their placement be returned to you. Snow White really did find a real blessing in you.
Thank you very much. So far no cat (or dog) has been returned. I am blessed with the wonderful friends I have as well. They keep me updated and send me pictures once in a while. Each time I do not get any updates, I make it a point to get in touch with that particular person. It is amazing looking at all my cats, fully grown or beautifully settled and well taken care of.

I am going for vacation for a month beginning May. Once I get back, Snow White is off for spaying, along with another cat outside that I am also feeding (I named him TINY as he/she seems to be not getting bigger).

Snow White cannot have any more dwarfs. LOL.
