Last week, my cat didn't seem to have much of an appetite, turning his nose at his usual wet foods. Even sardine, which is his favourite, he had a "meh, give me if you want" attitude. I called up his vet, had a chat. She said that she felt that he was putting on a little too much weight (4.4 kg, gained 0.4kg since 1 month ago.) so told me whatever amount of food i'm giving him, cut it by 1/3. she wanted him down to 4.2.
Because he is still growing, i didn't really listen to the vet, and just cut down like 20 calories. however, when i weighed him today, he seems to have miraculously gained another 0.1 and is now at 4.5kg. how is that possible when he is on less food? is it cause he's still growing? should i cut more calories out? also, his appetite is regular this week.
also, regarding the microchip bowl, i was wondering if there was any long term harmful effects of prolonged exposure to radio waves, if anyone knew?
thank you!
