Fiddle got to come in the living room for a few minutes today. She met my boy Alasdair who's been sooooo curious

After the cute nose boop he did back away and give a few little hisses and growls, but he didn't lunge or attack in any way.

And Tallulah gave zero effs. (she looks miffed, but that's just how she photographs)

Fiddle had fun!

And Cribbage is sooooo relaaaaxed today!

This morning for the first time, she ate in front of me!

And tonite during play time she looked so chill!

After the video she came close again, laid back down, and actually CLOSED HER EYES IN FRONT OF ME! I wish I'd gotten a pic of the closed eyes... Just imagine this position, but eyes closed haha

I'm so proud of her, all these little things are really adding up!

Thank you so much mani mani for changing my thread title and moving it to a new forum!

I love posting all the updates, especially when Cribbage makes new progress, but it's been kind of lonely getting really excited about her changes and not seeing anyone here getting excited right along with us.

Hopefully now we'll drum up a nice audience to enjoy watching her transformation. :hearthrob:

We just played with another interactive toy (a dopey little stuffed fish attached to a wand, a gift for my kitties a couple of years ago from my friend/neighbor Carol who passed away over the summer)

Afterwards, Cribbage ALMOST came to me for a pettin'. Maaaaaaaan she was thinking about it HARD!!! Thank gawd for Fiddle being so affectionate and setting such a good example, I truly think she's trying to teach her sister right along with me.
I mean technically I can touch/pet Cribbage a little, but it's against her will so I don't do it very often.... But she's getting REALLY close to coming to *me* for a touch, and that will be amazing.

Come on little gal, trust me...

Thanks! They've been here 3 weeks today and I must admit, for those first two weeks I wondered if she'd ever do anything but hide.
I'm very proud of her!

Couple videos..

Earlier today, Cribbage kept getting sooo close

Then this evening I had my neighbor over for some dranks (stormin' up here in Maine, so what better time to have dranks with a neighbor?)
I was VERY happy that both gals were very hospitable to our guest!

They've been here 3 weeks today, and Cribbage's progress is HUGE!!!

Today Cribbage has decided its fun to go up on the bed. And I snuck in some pettinz whilst playing! This is the first time I've touched her without forcing it. You can tell she actually wants it, she's just a little unsure still.

Then we all just hung out on the bed together like a normal little family.

Aw they both look happy!
So great, right? I can't believe this is the same gal who just 3 weeks ago was hiding from me with all her might. (and nearly landed me in the ER when I tried to pick her up--EEP!)

PS if anyone wants to help out with stuff they need, you'd also be helping our shelter save money to help more kitties. I've bought about half of their stuff, but we love our helpers! :)
The little gals' needs are all at the top of our Amazon wish list:
Amazon.com

I'm certain that the Feliway and Rescue Remedy have sped up Cribbage's progress, and I'd really hate to run out at this point in the game!
We're running pretty low on Wellness cans too.

I'm so mad right now.
20190122_205709.jpg

They're way too small. And it's my own fault for not reading closer--Although it did say 10-12" and they're about 9" so I'm mad at them too. But not worth my time/effort/postage to mail them back to China for $11 either.

Sure, good for getting Cribbage closer, but Fiddle has just clawed the crap outta my hands by accident trying to play with these.

Ugggghh. :bawling:

Woke up this morning and when I went to stretch, Cribbage jumped up to greet me attack my foot moving under the covers.
I didn't wanna encourage that, so I carefully tucked my foot in, and she settled down and waited for me to get up and make breakfast. :)
