I recently got this kitten from a rescue shelter. I’ve had him almost a month and really think he has a lot of traits of a Turkish Angora. What do you think? He had odd colored eyes, super friendly and cuddly and doesn’t mind baths, loves to be brushed. The shelter said he was grey when he first came in, and they had to clean him up. The black on his nose is gradually coming off. It looked like he scraped it when I first got him. I’m thinking he may have crawled up into a car. He has no undercoat, just super fluffy. I don’t care if pure bred, just very curious. What do you think?

I would describe your kitty as an odd-eyed white domestic longhair. Very pretty! Any white cat can be odd-eyed or blue-eyed; this trait is associated with the white coat color, and doesn't indicate Turkish Angora ancestry (Turkish Angoras come in most colors, too). Most cats are not any particular breed.

Thanks! I’ve always owned shorthairs (Abyssinian and a Pixie Bob), so I guess the longhair just looks super fluffy to me. I thought about a purebred this time, but decided to adopt. I have a lot of grooming research to do now LOL!
