Is his nickname :) one of my male 6 month old kittens sucks/attempts to nurse/kneads on all of our flease blankets. I don’t think it’s a big deal, I actually think it’s a cute little quirk. My husband on the other hand says I shouldn’t let him, he thinks it’s grose, concerned that he may mess up his teath or he get hair balls. Thoughts?

Awwwwwwww!!! You have a s m u r g l e r!!! Take lots of pictures and videos. If he starts to eat his blankets, then worry. Until then tell your husband to relax and enjoy it.

I have 3 baby kittens that do it to, because they lost their mom at 5 weeks old. It is a comfort thing. The only thing cuter is when they nurse off each other's neck! Your cat may grow out of it but I doubt it.

Awww. It’s like a small child that pronounces a word incorrectly. So stinkin cute but when is it time to be corrected? My husband keeps telling him that he’s gonna tell all his friends

Maybe never. I knew a bottle baby that was a blanket sucker until she died at 21 years old. The sucking did lessen over the years, though.

My daughter's kitty Mizzy is 9mths old (away from mom at 5wks) and still does this. Usually before sleep, suckles, kneads, then goes to sleep. 20181204_221355.jpg

Tell your husband to just be thankful the kitty-cat is not kneading his head in bed at night, with his claws. Gracie did that...
Oh geez :)
Lol. aren’t cats great? I would definitely laugh if they did that to him

That’s exactly what mine does! Besides him being a littlenoisy sometimes when I’m trying to sleep. I think it’s cute. He also does it when I scratch his lower back right by his tail

Stewart is an odd guy. He started humping as an adult after we'd got him neutered. Blanket, your leg, stuffed animals. It's hardly even a thing since he's been on Prozac for a while because of a spraying problem, but I had to pick my Caticorn off the bedroom floor because he tried to take it's virtue again around September.

20180703_011321.jpg Our fixed Dudelo loves my daughter's soft fuzzy blankets. He carries it around , humps it.. all sorts while meowing. He does it in spurts.
