Hello everyone,
I have been reading these forums a lot lately so I decided to join. You seem like such a supportive group of people.
My beautiful 12 year old cat has recently been diagnosed with Lymphoma of the intestine. We have just started her treatment protocol and both kitty and I are very stressed when it comes to administering her Chlorambucil.
I am covered in scratches and bites. She's a very anxious cat and trying to pill her is really difficult. It breaks my heart to see her so freaked out. The pill popper just gets hit out of the way, if I try to wrap her up she gets terrified, I have tried to stick the pills in treats but she eats around the treats.
Has anyone got any advice for giving oral meds to a terrified and aggressive cat? This pill cannot be crushed or broken.
Thanks so much.
