I’ve only had her here for a very brief period of time. The very night she arrived here she gave birth to four kittens so I’ve been calling her Mama Cat. She can’t be called that forever, so I could use some help when it comes to naming her. She’s very sweet and attentive and when she does come out, she’s very affectionate towards me. @Kflowers came through with the name Precious Periwinkle which I loved for my white kitten, so I’m sure someone can come up with something great this time too.

From google: The name Odette is the female version of Otto, from the Old High German words "otho" and "odo", which are derived from the French word "auda" meaning "rich". Therefore, Odette is of French and Old German origin, and its meaning is "wealth".

Also because I watched The Swan Princess yesterday and her name was repeated what felt like 150 times or more.

She is simply gorgeous and sounds like a sweetheart. :hearthrob: Her eyes are striking so perhaps a name that represents their lovely blue shade: Ice, Sapphire, Iris, Indigo or Azure.
I also think she looks like an Ava or Tove which is a Scandinavian name that means 'beautiful.'
Best of luck, please let us know how Mama and her kittens are doing. :catlove:

Mama Cat looks like she has some diva going on there. When I think of divas, I think of The Devil Wears Prada. Those blue eyes make me think of this scene and the color "Cerulean"

Cerulean it is. The name fits her perfectly because she can be a bit of a diva. I’ve noticed that during her short time here. She does have beautiful blue eyes too, so I couldn’t have thought of anything better myself. Obviously, or I wouldn’t be on here asking for help naming my cat...

I'm thrilled you like it! I love giving cats unique names and that is one of our household's favorite movies. :heartshape:

I love it too. In our house we now have a Totty Potato, a Tubby Tomato, a Phoebe Purriwell, a Precious Periwinkle, and now a Cerulean who still needs a last name. Hmm...
