I just adopted a new cat. While she was adopted from someone who used to breed cats, she was going to have to take her to the animal shelter if I didn't take her in free of charge. She was the only kitten she had left to find a home for before she begins her battle against brain cancer. She reached out to me because she is where I got Totty from and she claimed they were basically indentical to one another and as it turns out, she was exactly right. I'll have her all to myself for at least 6 weeks because my girlfriend and our cats just flew out an hour ago to go see her Mom who isn't doing very well. The cats always cheer her up, so I let her take them without too much grumbling. This is my new baby. Is there a particular forum here where you can ask for name ideas because I'm clueless.

If anyone here has kittens or young cats, I'd love to see them. Or if you have pictures of your older cat as a kitten, that would be awesme too. :)

What a fabulous kitten, she looks very comfortable with you. I like to know the personality of the kittens and choose a name that suits them. Here is Buzz as a kitten, named because he was always purring in my ear that sounded like a swarm of bees.

Thank you. I’ve always had a way with animals. Even ones that are mean to others, quickly warm up to me. Maybe because they realIze I like animals more than most people. I’m sure I’ll come up with something rather unique since my other cats are named Totty Potato, Tubby Tomato, and Phoebe Purriwell.

Off topic, what part of Orlando are you in? Are you from Orlando originally?

Also.
You could name her Bianca Blanca :yess:

She's precious. I tried to think of a good name, but my mind kept coming back to Charmin. She's white, soft and cuddly.
My cat's are no longer kittens at 22 months, but here is a picture of one of them which I always thought was cuteness overload. Onsa at....somewhere between 10-14 days (my mind is toast today)

My wife rescued an extremely pregnant cat from Craigslist, I can't remember the exact excuse for why they needed to get rid of her, but not even an hour later they were on there again asking for a young pair of breeding Persian cats. I think Carmen (going to change her name) is a ragdoll. Can anyone confirm this?

My wife couldn't keep her where she is, so she flew her to me and she arrived late last night. Here she is when she first got here.

I built her a small boxed in area before I went to bed so that she doesn't feel so out in the open while she gave birth and tended to her kittens, especially since she hasn't gotten to know me yet. This is what I woke up to this morning.

There seems to be four kittens, although I’m not completely sure. I will get a better look at some point. I am keeping her and her kittens separate from my kitten Precious. Not necessarily for health reasons, but I don't think she'd like anything or anyone poking around her babies. Even if it's just a tiny cat.

I don’t know how I looked over this. I live in Azalea Park because it’s close to where I train.

I am not from the US originally. I was born in Holland. I made my way here in 2016 when a great work opportunity came my way.

Bianca Blanca, hm? That made me chuckle.

Well happy to have you here! I am from Winter Garden, although I live in Tallahassee now!

Yes I'm terrible at clever names lol.
Do you like Tallahassee better? It seems to be a nice place. I’ve drove the four hour drive there for shows a couple of times and the people are always very nice.

Me too! I mean come on, I named my first two cats that I’ve had as an adult after a tomato and a potato. It doesn’t get much weirder than that.

Hahaha well right now, mine are named Amber and Jade (both black cats, names are for eye colors), Sully, and Piccolo (which is actually a nod to a childhood cat we had named Pickles...so yeah I get the food stuff!!)

Do I like Tallahassee better...I guess the short answer is yes. It feels like the place where I became an adult, I went (and am going again) to college here, my friends are here, and it is a very nice place with nice people. All my family is still in Winter Garden, so I miss that and I miss the Orlando activities, but I couldn't wait to get out when I turned 18! But that was more about me than the place :) Do you like living in Orlando?
