Leave for a week, and just look what happens! If I even tried to respond individually to everything, I'd be here till day after tomorrow, so I'll just say...
Yeah, I'll either be moving 30 minutes into town or to Texas, not sure yet. I'm worried about putting them on a plane though. You are moving? Wow. That will be exciting, I hope. Maybe the kitties will think it is a great adventure.
How far are you from San Antonio? My brother used to live in Dallas, but he moved to San Antonio. If you move to Texas, I've got a nice house warming present for you.
I think its like a 3 or 4 hour drive from Houston to San Antonio. I've been to San Antonio once, the Riverwalk is very cool. How far are you from San Antonio? My brother used to live in Dallas, but he moved to San Antonio.

Sleep tight sweet BJ, Gypsy sends sweet dream wishesBJ is still laying at my feet so I am trying to write this quickly and quietly.
Here is how things went tonight.
We started with a late supper. I wanted him to be hungry tonight and to concentrate on eating.
A hungry cat doesn’t pat much attention to my hand as I scratch very gently on his neck.

I slowly work my hand to the top of his head.
View attachment 261204
I finally feel my target. The tick on his head.
View attachment 261206
BJ is so intent on his food and comfortable with the head massage, he doesn’t realize I am removing the tick.
View attachment 261207
The tick is gone and he eats in comfort.
View attachment 261208
After eating he comes over to me.
View attachment 261209
He meows his thanks. I guess he does know the tick is gone. Lol
View attachment 261210
He seems to want more attention and sits to watch me.
View attachment 261211
I use the stick on the bird toy to rub his head.
View attachment 261212
Finally a good reaction to the bird toy!
View attachment 261213
He pushed his head against the stick.
View attachment 261214
I fly the bird above him and get an interested kitty!
View attachment 261215
He prefers the stick part though.
View attachment 261216
After only a minute of scratching BJ lays down.
View attachment 261218
Relaxing now, he puts his paws against my foot.
View attachment 261219
He’s starting to melt.
View attachment 261220
I get a look of sheer bliss as I scratch under his chin.
View attachment 261221
BJ is smiling.
View attachment 261222
He holds the stick between his legs.
View attachment 261223
My boy is improving. He actually starts to make biscuits against my shoe.....
View attachment 261224
And falls fast asleep between my feet.

I am sitting on a very low stool with BJ testing deeply beneath me. I will stay here as long as I can sit here. If he wakes up I will move to the bed. He’ll have company in the room tonight. We are finding our way to a higher level of trust and relaxation. A night together may increase his secure feeling. Sweet tired BJ. He sleeps well right now.
Have a great night everyone. Shhhhh.
Don’t wake BJ.
