hi my cat is call sunny and she is 1yr 6mths, I'm 99.9% sure the day she got pregnant was the 7th July, which would make her 75 days pregnant today and before you have ago at me i was planning to her spayed before i realized she was pregnant and we never let her out as shes a indoor cat someone else in our home did without realizing and we looked for her till 6 am and couldn't find her, she returned at 8 am and hasn't came in heat since...
Me and my partner keep thinking its time and its starting then next morning still nothing...
she very loving and affectionate has been a while but also like her own space, she has moments where she gets in her nesting area in her box and will lick her belly and nibble it and also will dig and get comfortable in the box and will knead and purr louder then usual, she eating and drinking normal hasn't slowed down and using the litter tray without a problem.
About 2 days ago she was following my partner around meowing and wanted to be in her box but didnt want to be on her own she wanted her daddy to sit next to her, and we thought that was the night but nope...
when she having these moments its like she wants to go outside... she will run to the back door or try one jump out the living room window and go into the next door neighbors garden into there massive bush and we are worried in case she may not be having them/stopping the labour due to she wants them outside, but its not safe and its ridiculously windy out. but we put her on her lead took her for a walk around our garden to get her moving and she started meowing and really wanted to get in the next door neighbors and when we tried to move her away from the gap and she did like cry meows and light growls and its like she wants us to let her go have them outside on own.

shes got her own room with some space to walk around its nice and dark (we have tried with lights on and off) she has her water and food bowl just outside the box, the box is big with sides but hasn't got a roof to it and has a thick warm, cosy blanket for her with news paper on top for her to move and be able to dig around in and also has another box the same but with a roof and smaller

(with her boxes)
we have left her in her room overnight but nothing
in our bedroom but nothing
in the landing but nothing

please help with advice but before you suggest vets i got all the advice of them i need i call over 20 different vets yesterday and will be taking her for her vets appointment if they are not soon here as vets have told me to wait a few more days as she isnt unwell in herself and has had no warning signs but our minds are full with worry.

why isn't she going into fully labour?
why is she only showing signs here and there and then nothing?

She is deffo pregnant,
Her nipples are red/pink
shes not that big unless she stretches out so I'm expecting 1-3 kittens?
they are still wiggling around but when shes relaxed they seem to be

any advice or people who have had pregnant cats that have gone overdue and haven't really shown any signs please share to help me with my girl

Not related to cats, but I know in humans it isn't unheard of to be past the due date. I was a month past my due date and my Mom knew she was pregnant early so it wasn't a miscalculation (and yes, the doctors tried to induce multiple times I've heard the story way too many times). Most of the time the main risk with going past the standard due date is the baby getting too big to safely be born. But if your cat is behaving otherwise normally and you aren't seeing any bleeding, the babies might still be cooking. There really is no way for us to know for sure why she hasn't had them yet.

I would take her in to the vet, not just call, if she hasn't had them by Monday. Or if you notice the babies stop moving. 72 days is the usual mark for a long gestational period in cats, so at 75 days you are just barely outside of it. Bigger breeds are known to have slightly longer gestations so if she or the male were larger it could be that.

My guess is you can't be absolutely sure when your cat got pregnant. They are in heat seven to ten days, usually.

I've learned from experience not to worry about pregnant cats -- they have their babies when it's time and, most often, without any complications. Please don't fuss over her, such that you make her nervous. Relax. Unless she shows "other" signs of illness, I wouldn't worry. But, if she's her usual self, again, relax.

Hi my cat is overdue now by quite a few days but vets said to give her a few more days before bring her in as she is healthy and happy in herself and the kittens are still little wigglers but we let her outside in the garden on her lead for a walk to get her moving and because she desperately wanted to go out and now she has started peeing in her nesting box even tho her litter tray is right near her, if she not in the nesting room and is chilling around the house, she uses the litter tray without any problems but im leaving her in her nesting area more to see if it helps bring on labour and the last 2 time ive gone in to check on her as i can hear her scratching at the paper in the box and both times it cuz shes pee over everything in the box but shes had the box for a few weeks now and has been perfectly fine with it and enjoyed it in the box when she went in in but now shes peeing, i dont mind if it just cuz she cant hold it or to make it smell of completely her scent but i just dont think its that.... any advise please?

I'm almost 100% sure it was that day as that was the only day she went and we couldn't find her as she normally runs out and straight up goes and hides the next gardens bush and we will have to spend time getting her to back come out of the bush lol and that is where i think shes waiting to have her kitten/kittens, thank you lol im trying to stay calm but when you look for information on cats overdue its all bad stuff thats why ive put a post on here for advice of all you people that have experience with an over due cats and know anything that could help me understand. thank you

Are you sure she is still pregnant, they look can look pregnant after birth? Has she had any opportunity to be outside alone and given birth? As I understand it 65 days appears to be about average - this the number I found on various sites when trying to figure out when mine was due. At the time she got pregnant she was a neighbour's cat, but she escaped a couple of times in heat and I saw her with a male - it can a happen in minutes, so as others said can be hard to predict the start date.

Best keep her in and get her used to it, she may want to go out, but a least with my cat she got over it once she got over going to the loo indoors. It is important to be consistent with them otherwise they figure if they try hard enough you will eventually give in. And she needs to stay constantly after birth until spayed, as risk of another pregnancy happening remarkably quickly

Yeah, I'm sure she's still pregnant as I know what it looks like after they have given birth, and she hasn't had time to go outside and have the litter. And when has gone out, she's not been out for long and she always comes straight back, and I thoroughly check her every time, but this has only happened twice. After she has gotten out, I have checked all of her "spots". I am keeping her in now full time, she hasn't gotten out recently apart from her walks, which I'm not doing anymore. All exits have been blocked off, so she can't get to them.
Thank you for getting back to me, I do appreciate any and all advice.

Welcome to TCS CrazyCatMamma. Can you still feel the little ones wrigling as you mentioned in your post earlier today? They normally calm down when labor is about to start.

Hiya, thank you very much, its gotten hard to feel them now? as her belly has gotten harder so i cant feel them moving that much but there is still some movement? could that mean it could be soon? I'm not expecting her to have many i think it will be 1-2 kittens

And she wont let us touch feel her belly shes started moving away so we have to distract her to get a quick feel and she hasn't been asking for belly fuss at all since last night, and we think her belly ''dropped'' about 3 days ago

CrazyCatMamma, I have reread your first post and it seems very strange to me that she was so desperately trying to get into your next door neighbour's place to the point of crying and growling. Are you sure she hasn't already given birth to her kitties somewhere in your neighbour's place? I would put her on the lead and let her guide you to the place she wants to go to and thus find out why. If in doubt I would have her examined by a vet without delay.

She kept running to get under the fance (the gap) and she was on her lead so we was guiding her away, it’s wasnt loudly, it was quite quietly, but she was and we already check their garden lucky enough they let us but there was nothing their and I don’t really want to ask them to take her in as they have their own boy cat and a dog who is particularly not very friendly... she settled down quite abit tho she hasn’t tried to get out at all today.

CrazyCatamma, either you are wrong regarding the number of days she has been pregnant or she has already delivered her little ones somewhere unknown to you. Otherwise at 82 days pregnant (82 days today) there is something seriously wrong and she should be seen IMMEDIATELY by a vet. Charging you £ 1000 for an examination seems preposterous. Where are you located?

hiya thank you for getting back to me, no, she would be 78 day's today, and i don't think i'm wrong about the date but now i'm second guessing my self due to people saying i must be wrong about the date... i could be i'm not having ago and the £1000 would be for a scan and if she needs a c-section or meds for inducing, i'm in the uk and that's the cheapest price i could fine for the vets near me.

is there anyway i can help her bring on labour??

Yes I agree that even at 78 days delivery would be overdue. I woulld take her to your vet.
An ultrasound or x-ray wouldl help determine how advanced the kittens are in their development and if it is time to induce labor.
If the kittens' delivery is overdue, your vet could suggest oxytocin to induce labor, which would take effect in about an hour. This should not be such an expensive consultation and you would know for sure what the situation is and if she can wait for a normal delivery.

They will have raspberry powder in the vitamin section of a store in the capsules
Get a laser pointer and have her run laps
Or take her to the vet and have them induce her because if you let it go on any longer it could hurt your cat and the kittens
