(Sorry about this second post)
I just got worried when I noticed when I pet my cat I feel something odd on her side. She had two kittens last sunday and one sadly was born still born. What worries me is what if she didn’t give birth to any other still born kittens? We all thought she’d have more than two and we were surprised when she didn’t but shrugged it off. I’m just a little concerned in case it is I don’t want anything bad to happen or if it’s a tumor (I always think the worst :/). So far she acts normal and tends to her kitten just fine and doesn’t jump in pain when I feel her side but it’s just odd and kind of freaking me out since I’ve heard of this happening to other cats. How much do you think it’d cost to get her to the vet? And how much time would she have? I hope I’m just over worrying ;-;

Hi! Can you call a vet and see what they think and what they'd charge? You don't want to wait much longer in case there actually is one still in there. Are there any low cost vets in your area?

I could try to call a vet, but unfortunately I don’t think there are any low cost vets around here that I know of. Whenever we have pet emergencies or appointments the local ones try to rack our bill up to over $1,000 so my mom avoids them as much as possible :// I can look around though for cheaper places, if nothing turns up I’m going to just have to beg my mom to do me a solid and pay her back. I know she will definitely need X rays then a surgery if they find anything... this is so stressful x/

Yes you can promise to do extra chores. Work even harder in the school and get good grades.

Perhaps something may be done with some neighbours? Esp elders do often need help. For example changing lamps or vacuuming the ac aggregate.
Or get help with smartphone. :)

Thank you for the suggestions, definitely gonna be doing chores for awhile lol, and I get some money from my brother for babysitting every weekend, so it will help go towards the vet. I have lots of old neighbors so I’ll definitely ask around for who needs help. I’m hoping everything will work out c: Gonna have to keep my grades neat for sure lol. I will be calling a vet tomorrow to see what needs to be done.

I'm not sure if this is resolved yet, but my gracie gave birth to seven and I still felt a bump on her side. I just chalked it up to her uterus not shrinking back down to normal size just yet.

I actually found a post from awhile ago that said that could be a reason for a bump and actually makes sense, thank you, I checked her today and can’t seem to find the bump anymore so I believe that could’ve been the reason, still gonna get her checked out just in case c:
