Hi there!
I've been catching and neutering the ferals around my property since the beginning of the year. I've caught and released two thus far.

I have two barn cats of my own so naturally my barn is the best hangout for all the neighborhood kitties (because food). I've set up a trail cam to capture who is coming in to feed. I have one kitty who I /might've/ gotten a picture of this past winter (while pregnant) and then again recently but I can't tell if it's the same cat??

Obviously if it is the same kitty then she is a female and is my top priority. I'm sharing a picture of her parts (idk if that's helpful and if anyone can determine sex just by looking at this pic) and also the picture I got of her during the winter and one I took last night. If it's the same cat, she looks so much bigger in the last picture than she did last night. Idk if that's cuz pregnancy/winter or if it's a different cat.

Pic 1: Kitty parts and the black male feral said kitty has been hanging around with (I neutered and released the black male today)
Pic 2: Picture of kitty from last night
Pic 3: Picture from winter

Sorry this isn't much to go by. They're actually screenshots from videos. Wish I could share the vids, but alas, I'm not allowed.

Gosh, tough one. I was able to match up 2 bands on the leg. If you only had a pic from same angle, huh? I feel your pain.

I do think it’s the same cat. I also looked at the leg banding like kmbishop111 kmbishop111 did, and the dark backs of her legs. Also the banding on “her” tail, but the same of the tail looks unique to me? It seems to get a bit thicker and then thins back out again, if that makes sense? Also, the banding on the back legs is a little more “blurred” or “diffused” on both pictures, and both cats have thinner but more “sharp” and dark stripes on the front legs.
Beyond that? :headscratch:
PS- It’s great that you’re helping them!:worship:

It's a female. She appears to be torbie (unless the pictures are spotty; I know how trail cameras are!), plus she doesn't have the big boofy head that a tom would have. The picture from the back is either a female or neutered male, so I'll go with female because of the other reasons.

I can't really tell if the half-pic from winter is the same cat but it probably is.

Are you having their ears tipped? It's a good idea, especially for the common colors/patterns. It can get real interesting when you're trying to figure out whether you already trapped that tabby or not ;).

Yes, the shelter I'm working with requires ear-tipping for all. Good eyes too! Pregnant kitty IS a torbie. I've seen her out in the daylight and I've captured her baby (see my profile pic).

Actually looking at those two pics... does anyone else notice the kink in the tails?? It looks like it's in the same spot on both cats.

Also that white spec on the top of her head. Must be the same kitty. Definitely need to catch her.
