Feliway Spray

Hello all,
So I bought a Feliway spray from the vet office (not sold in stores in Ottawa) to try to stop my kitty from scratching one of my couches, it worked but it's pretty pricey! They have it on Amazon for cheaper price, but I've never bought anything from the website (I know it's popular but I don't shop much online) has anyone bought it from Amazon did you have a good experience?

Hi! You want to be sure that the labelling is exactly as the one you purchased previously, and don't purchase from a third party seller through Amazon unless you're completely sure you're getting the correct product.

If you decide to try something else, you could look into thunderease, sentry and there might be additional producst that have something for you in Canada. Or you could try putting sticky tape on that couch.

I order my feliway from Amazon all the time. I make sure to get the Feliway brand, not Comfort Zone with Feliway or any other knock-off brand.

So as long as it's a feliway brand ( purple box)and the picture of the box on the website is the same of the one I bought from the vet and it says on the add "by feliway " ?

I bought a 20ml bottle from the vet's office for $22+TX to try it out.

I just looked at the packaging for mine which is the comfort zone with feliway. I actually have no idea if it's right (at the time it was on sale so I admittedly didn't look that closely) but it says 2 percent facial pheromone. Does feliway have a website? You could check packaging there...

So I looked into the website and feliway is only sold at the vet offices in Canada, so I ordered it from my vet's office 60ml for $44... I think it's better than buying a 20ml bottle for $22. I rather spend a little more money and make sure I'm getting the right stuff (I don't want to risk it buying it online)

Our new kitten is a lovely girl but seems to be suffering from a bit of mild aggression/anxiety when I leave her! Got Feliway from Amazon today and after a few hours, shes like a different cat! More chilled, sleeping gently, sat oh my lap for a cuddle, closing eyes contently.. so shocked it has worked this quickly!! Sure Im not imagining it!!

My tips for Amazon would make sure its either sold directly by Amazon or by the brand themselves. Failing that, check the seller ratings. Most of the things we’ve ordered from Amazon have been fine but I’ve had some perfume which seemed suspicious and a ‘YSL concealer’ which caused an allergic reaction.. (bought for me) so am always very careful myself!!

Edit- forgot to say, in the UK, Feliway also make a product to encourage scratching in certain areas. What I did with my old cat was very calmly say “no” when she scratched the sofa and gently moved her to her scratching post. Also used a catnip spray to encourage her to use her posts/pads- worked very well

Sorry if it's already been mentioned, but be cautious of the "sold by" and "shipped by" on amazon. I've been caught a few times with not watching that having the item be sold AND shipped by some third party amazon seller, only to find out the seller is in some foreign country and I never end up receiving the products. (more than once sadly )

I always make sure if it says it's sold by a third party seller/company, that the "shipped by" says "fulfilled or shipped by Amazon"
