Deb's parents had to put down their little girl Molly who lived to the astonishing age of 21 this morning, she was throwing up and going to the bathroom at will so age finally caught up with her, but before that besides going deaf and not being able to jump anymore she was pretty good right up until the end, but it was time and of course they as well as us are saddened but she couldn't have had a better life indoors. It comes the day after the 4 year anniversary of us putting down Simon, so May 15th and 16th each year will be rough to say the least, but she is fine now, relieved to be out of her pain ridden Earthly body and healthy and happy again.

"Their last breath on Earth is their first breath in Heaven" :rbheart:

Rest softly Molly, you were a good little kitty......

Rest you gentle, Sweet Molly, dream you deep. You walk in someone's heart forever.

What a lovely, long run that precious girl had! I know how her physical presence will be missed, but I truly believe that Molly remains. Her spirit is just a whisper away, young and spry again, and as loving as ever she was.

My, what a long, happy life that sweet girl lived. Because I have no doubt at all that she was happy and so well loved to live that long. To have someone in your life for that many years is a blessing, and such a heartache when they go. She is a big part of that family, and her presence will be so dearly missed. I have no doubt her loving spirit will be close by, a love like that just doesn't disappear. It becomes a part of you.
My thoughts and prayers are with Deb's parents at this time, and with you too, les26 les26 , for the reminder of painful times. I believe sweet Simon and her are lying together in a special spot of sun, reminiscing about a life well spent, and how much they both were loved and held in loving hearts.
Please pass on my condolences, I know how much this hurts and how long it takes to get through a loss like this. Take care.......RIP beautiful Molly. You are hearing the sweet voices of angels now, and jumping onto the laps that will warm and comfort you for eternity. May the good Lord bless and keep you, until you meet again!

I will surely pass this on, thank you for the comforting words and well wishes for Deb's parents. Her father is 85 years old and he took her yesterday, and when he came back Deb saw him standing in the garage, he didn't know she was there, and she said he was just looking down shaking his head, and later Deb's mom said he really cried after we left as she did too and Deb and I too, we knew her for 21 years, it was like a cousin or something to us, so we all feel it too.

Thanks and thank you all, God Bless...

Les :rbheart:

How sad for you to lose this beloved member of your family and especially for your in laws, it hurts so much and gets harder the older we get. What a wonderful life Molly seems to have had, even at 21 years of age, its never long enough.

:alright: Condolences to your entire family. Molly was blessed with long years but having her gone after such a long time is the passing of an era. Thank you all for making her life so good that she made into the "bonus years".

I'm so sorry for your loss. It sounds like Molly was very, very loved by the whole family. She was a lucky girl to be so cherished. What a sad day to lose a friend you've known for so long.
