What are you craving right now?

Guacamole. I'm tempted to go to the grocery store and get all the fixings.

Cheesecake. I bought some at the Publix before Christmas. I was so excited to find gluten free. We drove thirty miles to the store to buy some (4). Later, when we got ready to eat them, they were gluten free, dairy free and something else I forgot. Well, they were coconut based, no cream cheese. What a bummer. Luckily each cake is only four slices. We will eat them, but they are not like having a traditional cheesecake. I just needed one with a gluten free crust.

micknsnicks2mom micknsnicks2mom I've been thinking of lasagna, too. When you make it, do you make enough to make it worth your time? Lasagna can be a bit of a hassle to make, so when I do, I'll make 2-3 pans and then stick the extra pans in the freezer for later on. Our store had various pastas on sale last night, so I bought three boxes of lasagna noodles. I'll buy the other stuff as it goes on sale and then spend a morning making pans of lasagna. It's been a while since we had it.

Still wanting that margarita.

yes, i do! i usually bake two 9x13 pans of lasagna, together in one oven, baking. next month i'll start my 'putting up' for the hot summer months, with baking lasagna -- 4 pans of it! i was thinking i'd bake two one day, and the second two the next day. but......now i'm thinking about it, i may as well just bake two ovens-ful of lasagna, one right after the other. my thought being that then i won't need to completely/thoroughly wash the big pot i boil the lasagna noodles in, or the big pot i brown all the ground beef and hot breakfast sausage in either (between batches). i'm always interested in cutting down on the dishes i need to wash. i'll end up with 40 slices of lasagna, which i'll freeze 34 slices individually, and the last 6 slices will be my dinner for 6 days. :yummy:

i'm still waiting for the 80/20 ground beef to go on sale here. the store had the 90/10 ground beef on sale recently, so i'm not sure they'll put the 80/20 on sale now. :sigh: i may end up having to buy it at regular price -- though still costs less because i buy it in the 6+lbs packages.

now i'm craving lasagna...again! :D

Chili with meat and beans. We like to add sour cream and grated cheese and eat it over rice. Oh my, I can almost smell a big pot of that cooking on the stove. Some for now and some for later.
