My kittens love my schnauzer. Since my dog was raised by cats, he thinks he is one and loves to play with the kittens. He is so gentle with them.

I live in an area with a large deer population and they have learned to get friendly with anyone with an orchard. My kitten Moggie went through a stage of trying to play with them, and really took a shine to a fawn with a lame Mom who has been around for a few months. It is the dry season here and I have been sharing the early apples with her and picking arm loads of browse and she is recovering. Both my kitten and the fawn go back and forth between trying to approach each other and then getting intimidated by the weirdness of trying to be friends. In the first clip Moggie retreats, and I stopped filming, not realizing Moggie would run back across the yard a minute later to try and play with the fawn. If you watch his little face he is looking at the fawn until Mom gently asks him what he thinks he is doing. The last clip was filmed the next day, same fawn.
Now Moggie has mostly given up trying to play but he does still enjoy sitting in at family dinners.

Sorry these are such bad quality...

13 year old Tangent and 10.5 year old Charlie the Corgi, my seniors, napping together right now in the home office recliner by my desk. They usually try to nudge the other out to hog the seat, but today they're sharing.

orange&white orange&white - You did a great job here; they're exactly the same colour - and everyone wants to be a redhead these days! Revlon? Miss Clairol? L'Oréal?

To be honest, Oliver is not too keen on Chase. Chase is big, friendly and dumb and just wants to play but Oliver hisses and shoos him away. Oliver gives a very deep growl when he wants to. Oliver looks to be a very average sized cat compared to monster dog.
I must clean the rug, grrr these pesky pets.
