Hello! I found your site awhile ago when I was looking for help on grooming Persians (specifically getting rid of the "eye boogies" they can get.) I've lurked ever since, and decided I should come out of the woodwork.
I work in Antarctica over part of the year, but when I am off work, I'm pleased to share my life with my two cats, a Creame Point Himi named Gypsy Rose and a bicolour (Red and White) Persian named Percy. My cats get annoyed by me leaving, but I can assure you, their routine does not get disrupted as they remain in place year-round.
Both are altered, and neither has shown, although both are papered. I had a PKD Persian once and since then I've been religious about interviewing the breeder as much as they interview me, and insist on seeing the genetic test proof.
