I know it can be difficult to determine a cat's adult appearance simply by looks alone, especially at earlier stages. For example- my calico and tortoiseshell were complete opposites as kittens, then flip-flopped as adults. (Calico was very fluffy, ended up short-haired an adult. Tortie was very short-haired/coarse furred and ended up being medium-hair and incredibly silky.)

Pecan was born this year on September 17. Her mother is a small-built bicolor (black with low grade white spotting), and was a primarily outdoor cat that a friend of mine adopted from their family member, transitioning her to indoor after becoming pregnant a second time.

The entire litter was pretty colorful. Four girls(three who have tail-kinks, Pecan included), two boys- one brown tabby boy and one bicolor (VERY low grade white spotting, you wouldn't know unless you flipped him onto his back) boy, one classic calico girl, one 'torbie'/tabby calico (no distince black, just orange tabby, brown tabby and white), and two dilute calicos (though Juniper, Pecan's 'twin' sister, is more 'brindled' in appearance whereas pecan's 'patches' of color are more distinct.) I believe, though cannot be 100% positive, that they're both blue-cream dilute calicos/torties.

Koda, Chester, Mitzy, Olive, Juniper and Pecan. :) Pecan was/is the smallest.

Her fur is very plush, but some big girl hair is coming in that's darker and a bit coarser. Her entire litter had very severe fever coat (as newborns, my friend sent me a photo and I couldn't tell that they were cats at first. They looked like little salt n' pepper dust bunnies), and while their coats have all faded out a good deal so that their true colors can be seen through the fever coat, they all still are kind of 'dusty' looking on their backs.

Pecan has gray and pink spotted toes/paws and nose, and dark grey-green eyes. I'm not sure if her eyes will change color further or stay this way. I've personally never met any adult cats with eyes this color, just kittens.

I've attempted to attach photos. If it didn't work I'll add them manually in a moment.

She's really cute! I'm guessing she'll end up as a shorthair. Any longer hairs are probably kitten fluff.

That's what I'm thinking. I'm curious to see the outcome of her eyes. Her twin sister has similar eyes, but they have a noticeable reddish-orange hint to them.
