I am just curious if this is normal or different behavior for a cat? My cat is a 1 year old siberian and has absolutely loved belly rubs ever since about 6 months old. In fact, when she comes in bed in the morning and I am petting her back, she will do this little "flop" thing and fall to her side, and as she falls she will rabbit kick my hand to her stomach then hold it there with her leg and start purring. She will lay like that for however long I will pet her stomach, and will often fall asleep if I do it long enough. When I'm doing it, she will usually lay perpendicular to my chest with her paws pressed against me. If I move, or leave, and she feels her paws leave my chest, she usually gets up and leaves too.

Do any of your cats love belly rubs this much?

Greg like his tummy rubbed and scratched for a minute ir two....he will stretch out for you to "properly" rub him.

But Arnold will fall asleep in your lap while you rub his tummy.....except you need two hands to hold him so this is best done on the couch where you can properly attend to his needs.

Two that hate it, Two that love it, and One that probably doesn't have a preference, but, you'll pay dearly if you try.

And here's the strange part. I can cradle carry the two that hate belly rubs. I cannot cradle carry the two that love belly rubs.
Actually, being cradled is the ONLY thing those two cats don't like.

My orange kitty LOVES belly rubs. He'll arch his back and start to purr the second my hand gets close to his tummy. So cute. My other one HATES them and if my hand strays to close when I'm petting him, he'll give a quick nip just to say 'Hey, away from there!'

You named them after the cartoon? :flail:I think they are all cute ... though your grey kitty (Rick?) is adorable :) :rbheart::catrub:
Haha yep! Love Rick and Morty! Rick (the grey one) also has the biggest personality. A real sweetheart who warms up to new kittens in the snap of your fingers. He's been a great mentor to the foster kittens we've rehomed.
