Congratulations Ms. GC Posiepurrs Camellia Camie! Abyeb - with her lush well-defined coat and intense eye colour, she'd certainly be a strong contender at the National level. Look at the Silver Persians from the mid-1980s and then at Camie; today's Shaded Silvers are almost washed out in comparison (and the exceptions to that are always at the top of the judges' list). At the National level, where judging is much more sophisticated inside the individual breeds, I think (just personal opinion here) that she'd be very strong.

I wouldn't mind trying for a regional, but my work schedule prohibits it. Last year we only were out 2 times the entire season. I wish I could get the video posted of one of the finals. I just haven't had time to figure it out. Thanks for the vote of confidence but I really doubt she is national win material. Those cats are truly exceptional. Just look at Castlegates Toy Soldier-a silver who placed nationally this past season. While in my heart Camie is topcat, as a breeder I see her limitations. Just don't like to admit them!

Both are exceptional cats, but even on the International circuit, you have to go all the way up to GC Sunnybeach Ultra Sweet:

GC Sunny Beach Ultra Sweet - Google Search

to give Camie a run for her money for eye colour and shading combined. You see her every day, Lynda, and that might get in the way of looking at her objectively, but Camie didn't Grand by accident. That girl is a top flight Shaded Silver, and I've seen one or two others.

While he is handsome, Camie beats him IMO. She is just angelic. That face. Those eyes. All she needs is a pair of wings.

Is this just not his (CTS) best photo? Is it just me or do his eyes look strange here?

Camie's prettier. Sorry buddy. Not really. He does have a lovely coat though.

The photo does NOT do him justice. I have seen this boy multiple times in the show and he is drop dead gorgeous.
Camie does look angelic and is even as sweet as she looks. If I could get the time off from work, and was able to afford the traveling I would at least try for a Regional win. I show on a shoe string budget since the hobby is a very expensive one. A national will be forever out of my reach. It takes THOUSANDS of dollars, being gone every weekend, and traveling all over the county to get a NW. I don't have the $$ for that nor would my husband be thrilled if I was gone that much!

I still haven't figured out how to get the video from my phone to here.
Unfortunately, you can't upload a video directly from your phone to TCS forums. You have to upload it to another hosting site and then you can embed it from there. If you click on the media icon

you'll see a list of websites that are supported by our embedding tool. I find the easiest one for me is Facebook, but I know a lot of people use YouTube.

I just tried, but it failed to embed. Guess you all won't get to see the judge talk about how heavy Camie is or make her 2nd best cat.

Can you post a link to a YouTube video? I'd love to see that!
I have been trying for 2 days to get it on youtube. I keep getting told it is processing and to come back later. I don't know if this is allowable (if not I am sorry and delete it, moderator), but I am on Instagram as Posiepurrs. The video is on there.

Hooray! I like Sharon's little, "she's heavy," demi-plié as she turns 'round. Camie is just so beautiful, and has such dreamy eyes - I know that she'd give everyone a run for their money on the National level.

I love love love seeing pictures of your cats. My favorite breed of all time, even though my girl is not show quality she has the most beautiful personality of any cat I've ever known. I can't wait for more updates on Camie :redheartpump::hearthrob:

It doesn't matter if she is show quality or not since all cats are special and beautiful!
Thank you all for your comments on my not so little princess. We don't have another show until August when my club puts on our annual show in Sturbridge, Massachusetts.

Yes, all cats are special and beautiful but Camie is a winner! Will be looking forward to hear about your club's upcoming annual show in August.
