Ok, so my cat is pregnant and had a little bit of discharge, it was pinkish in color didn't have an odor and was only a few drops. I did some research trying to see if anyone else had this issue, well turns out they had, but every forum thread I read never had a conclusion as to what happened to the cat, the only responses where ever "take the cat to the vet" and no information after that. Well I took my cat to the vet and here's what happened. We could see two kitten who appear to be alive although we could get a heart beat because of how they were turned, my cat does not have pyometra, and should be just fine as long as she keeps eating and drinking regularly, has not diarrhea or vomiting, or the discharge doesn't become worse. She is at least 45 days along lol, but the vet said we should be seeing kittens in the next 7 days.

Cats usually have pinkish discharge in the days leading up to labor and delivery. It is the body getting ready to deliver the kittens. :)

Have you gotten any kitten supplies yet? Now is a good time! You at least want kitten milk replacer (powdered by PetAg is great), a needleless syringe, and a scale to weigh daily.

Can you keep mom inside and totally away from intact males? Do you plan to spay after this litter?
