I thought I needed some kind of different equipment but my modem already had Wifi on it he just turned it on for me. He did something with the modem and then logged in as an admin to turn it on.

I have already set up my TV on my tablet. I also have downloaded Mahjong. I love that game even though the game usually wins. I haven't looked for things for the kitties yet. I have to get some protective film for the screen before doing that.

An elderly acquaintance of mine bought an Apple tablet. Anxious to use it, but nothing happened. She went to the Apple Store to find the problem. Problem was nobody told her she needs to set up wi-fi in her condo.

I bought my iPad from Staples. So when I went down to pick it up, I was going to buy a screen protector. But then I saw Liquid Armor, so I thought I'd give that a try. It has worked out well. It's supposed to be good for a year, so I need to get take the iPad back down for another dose.

However, even though I like the Liquid Armor, many people do not and the reviews are not good.

I ordered a protector from Amazon; it's the same thing that Karen purchased and it's very nice. I have a similar protector for my Nook. It makes them almost seem like a book.

Enjoy your tablet.....I think it's one of the best things I ever bought. I just love it.

What is good about a screen protector? I've never had one & I have the same iPad as you do.
It prevents the screen from getting scratched. If you aren't rough with your tablet scratches probably aren't a big concern but they can happen even with normal use, and replacing the whole screen is expensive. With a screen protector you can just peel it off and slap a new one on when it gets too scratched.

I've got a Smart Cover, which I love. Isn't that sufficient?

I think the main thing I wanted a protector for was for the cats. They have games for cats which of course they may or may not be interested in. Jcat says her kitty is fascinated by the games.
