I'm going to have a very, VERY lazy day and have tomato stew...you know, pasta sauce in a bowl. Told y'all about that. "Tomato stew" just sounds classier. I've been cleaning non-stop, moving furniture to mop and wax, the whole sheebang. Company coming on Thursday! THAT night, we're going out to eat, her treat!

Whatever Rick makes is fine with me. I have a Planning Commission meeting after work and won't get home until later on. He's in Big Chef mode. We had leftovers last night; I don't know what he has planned.

I took chicken thighs out of the freezer and will do them in the air fryer tonight. We will share a baked sweet potato. And I'm thinking some green beans.

I have absolutely no idea.. I have a salad blend from TJ's which has the use by date as: 4/16/// it is the 19th so I am not so sure if it is ok..
It has cabbage, and stuff in it.. sigh..

or I could order pizza? or I could take a quiche out and bake it? I could have a lean cuisine.. or hot dogs and beans.. or cereal...or yogurt, granola, blueberries...or I could have popcorn... decisions, decisions..

Those chicken thighs in the air fryer? Yum. They were delicious. I used a flour & Old Bay/egg coating, preheated the AF to 390 degrees. Four nice-size thighs at 390 degrees for about 30 minutes. Perfect! Crispy and really juicy. Great chicken and you would swear it was fried. Rick is not really much of a chicken fan, but even he was pleased with the crispiness of the thighs. I highly recommend the air fryer.....it's been worth the money so far. And it really works when I need fried chicken!

Rick has a union meeting, so he won't be home until around 5:00; he has to be into the bowling alley by 6:00. I made a batch of split pea soup last night and kept some out for dinner tonight. I'm going to throw together a batch of apple muffins, too.

went to a post funeral celebration of life meal, at a restaurant.
Had salad, baked schrod, mashed potatoes, green beans, roll with butter and a scoop of vanilla ice cream...and one tiny glass of wine...

long day...

a grilled cheese sandwich, possibly some soup, some raw veggie pieces with ranch salad dressing as a dip, and a cinnamon caramel blondie.
I hope you had tomato soup with that grilled cheese. That's my favorite. I think I will have that tomorrow night.

Tonight I'm having pasta with mushroom soup and peas. It is tasty and easy to make. I'm not a grand cook like you guys are.

well, i wanted tomato soup and i have some on hand, but was just too tired to go through the little effort to heat it up last night. i had some mini pretzels instead of the soup.

tonight i'll have a meatloaf sandwich, and a cinnamon caramel blondie. i'm thinking i'll open the last jar of applesauce and have some of that too. it's been a while, and i absolutely love applesauce.

Aaron and I had a similar conversation yesterday morning. We ended up going out to eat spur of the moment last night.

Tonight is going to be zucchini noodles with homemade sauce from the freezer and turkey meatballs.

You can't go wrong with any of those. I'd go for the hot sausage sandwiches personally.

No idea what we're having. DD will decide.
