Still working! I think Frank is going back Thursday! He is really wanting to play and still has not licked so is ready! Plus I can check on him a few times before I leave.

Frank is ready! Just some flaky skin waiting for fur to grow in the middle! He has been very frisky tonight and is ready to go hunt some real mice. The toy ones are perplexing to him!

Oh, Frank! He's not the staid housecat after all. He wants to run, chase, and play! Barn, here he comes! :)

His fur looks fabulous! He's going to charm all the ladies with his looks!

So the barn reunion was just ok. I think Frank was a little thrown off by Tom's scent. Everyone got along fine and was submissive to Frank. He sniffed noses cautiously with Momma & Jesse. Tom approached him but turned away and was non-confrontational. Whew! They all followed him around as he explored the barn and yard area. When I left they were all laying around a few feet apart. I will see how things are going in the morning!

 :clap2: Sounds like his return will go off quite well. Must be quite the relief for you! AND for dear Frank. He looks pretty darn happy in those pictures.

Frank's at the barn - yay! Hopefully Tom will continue to respect Frank after his foreign smells wear off and there will be no fighting.

How was he today?

Love the pictures :).

Frank was good today. He is not happy that Tom is there but seems happy otherwise. He was off exploring when I got there but appeared after I called him. (He always comes when you call him!) :)
Here he is guarding the food bowl while Tom pretends to not notice.

Here he is just enjoying himself. He rubbed on my legs and was happy to get petted. He does not try to follow me out though!
As much as he enjoyed being spoiled inside. He loves being the king of his barn.

Frank eating with Jesse & James. Tom at his own bowl. Mr Tabby waiting patiently for his turn. Note the winter cat houses in the back ground. I made them last fall and the cats loved them. The black one was Franks and the hole is only 6" across so I made the blue one with a bigger hole for Mr Tabby, who runs on the plump side. It needs some better tape this fall - gorilla tape is best, the duct tape didn't stay on well. They have styrofoam inside, lining the walls & floor then straw bedding. Even when it was really cold you could put your hand inside and the body heat from the cats kept it surprisingly warm!

The winter houses sound very nice and warm!

I love this peek into Frank's life at the barn. He certainly appears to rule the roost! :)

AWWWWW!! I love this! Sounds like a great place for all of the barn kitties to live. Such great care, shelter and love. All of barn cats that I have cared for during my years of having horses just loved their life. Great updates and pictures!

You might try a bitter spray from Amazon. Emmy's best was rated well and helped a little. Might work for your cat. They emailed me to see how it worked and I told them I only tried it two days then moved on to the Wound Gard. They told me to return it for a full refund as they offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee.
It did help reduce the licking. Just not completely for Frank right away.
The Wound Gard is still working!!

I'm really glad it's working for you. Amazon UK seems to only have sprays to keep cats and dogs away from things ie furniture etc. Not for their health. I'll just have to keep an eye on him. Thanks again.

Frank is doing well. Seems to be good with the other kitties (except Tom) and he got lots of love from all the gals over the long weekend!! Still has a small bare spot on his side but with the spray and the long fur around it he is leaving it alone!
