Laurie, I'm so happy for you and Gary! You guys and your indoor kitties will have so much more room!  That's so great!

Maybe in time you guys can build a cat enclosure attached to the house to allow your kitties outdoor access while still being safe.

I hope the feral babies will adjust and not want to return to their current location.

The house is stunning! And the privacy looks awesome!

Lots and lots of vibes for a good move heading your way!!!

House looks just beautiful. Master bedroom looks really big; beautiful hardwood floors. Congratulations and best wishes for happiness for you and all the kitties. Keep us posted with more pics. Looks like you can do wonders with the house once you put your own touch on it.

:hugs: :hugs: :hugs:

Things seem to be moving along well. Now we're over the nerves about the house, we're starting to freak about moving the feral cats. This is the most worrisome part of all of this. :heart2: :heart2: :heart2:

You'll still be quite close to the trailer park won't you? So even if you can't catch them all as planned you can always go back and pick up any stragglers later.

I had a carefully planned schedule for which cats I was going to move on which day, but in the end which ever one "volunteered" by going into the trap or the carrier that day was the one that got moved. I had to go back for the last two a couple of days after we'd officially moved out.

I think your cages in the tent idea is going to be great. They'll soon get used to the idea.

Moving is much more stressful for people than it is for cats, we have to worry about it before the event as well as afterwards.

I'll be keeping all my fingers and toes crossed for a trouble free move.

Well, Dottie better get her butt back here. She's been here almost every meal, every day, all spring and summer - and now POOF! Gone. Smokey had been hassling her lately. Did see her over by the barn the other day. :sigh:

As only one of the six core kitties needs to be trapped, I was hoping to get all of them crated and caged the same day. And Treebie, the only one I can't pick up at this point, is eating under the drop trap, LOL. I have it set up like a feeding station.

All of the others will survive without us. If they are here to trap, we will do our best. And our proximity to the RV park has nothing to do with it. We will not have access after October 18th. There are electronic gates, and the owner doesn't want anyone here. We can walk in, and carry traps down to the road. Our site is near the road. I'd love to have Peanutbutter, Tommy and Bean join us. But... they survived last winter just fine without us for the most part, so they may be happier wherever their territory encompasses.

Incredible his grace....   From getting kicked out of an RV park to this......

When God closes doors he opens windows and in your case windows with beautiful views, Congratulations !!
AMEN!!  Yes, indeed!!!!  I am so overjoyed for you guys as I read this.
You definitely deserve it!!!!!!!!!!  You are such a big blessing, you are getting a big blessing in return!

I will pray for everything to continue going smoothly, & with moving the cats as well.  Sounds like you have a good plan. I hope that you can get them all. I think it's great that you are going to have the communicator

talk to them.

Right along with ya on this one. That was THE biggest worry for me as well when we moved last time. BUT - things did and do always seem to work out. It is a relief that you are able to pick up most of your "core" kitties and DOTTIE - GET BACK HOME!!!!!!!!!!! :cross: :cross: :nothappy: :vibes:

I am hoping that Ira will allow you to at least walk from the road with traps IF you don't gather up everyone you really need to take. The other's, yes hun :heart2:, they will survive. Your "core" kitties are the ones that really need you the most, you know what I mean. :vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes:

We own a home. :)

We just noticed the door knocker today! :lol3:

I can't believe everything pulled together to actually close today! 18 days. Everyone worked so hard. The seller was crying at the close. :heart2: He is back in the States in May, he asked if he could drive by. We invited him to visit.

That's awesome! So happy for you.

That door knocker is like something from "The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe".

So make sure you keep us updated on the big move. I want to see lots of pictures of al your cats settling in to their new home, you hear?

I thought about you several times yesterday. Glad everything went well. I kinda got goosebumps seeing that door knocker. It was certainly a sign that this is your place!

Keep us posted!

That's great.  Good luck with the move especially with the ferals.  Hopefully you get all the kitties moved that need to be moved and they settle in quickly.

Congratulations!  This is so exciting for all of you, including the ferals.  I'm so glad y'all have all this secured now and it's such a perfect place to call home.
