PS he has been feeling hotter than normal and has spots in his ears that may be ear mites I'm trying to get him to the vet but don't have a ride as of now

I'm glad to hear you are trying to get him back to the vet as that's the first place to start. Before you try and address any possible behavioral changes you have to rule out that he is medically okay and, based on what you are saying, it sounds like there might be something more serious going on. Neutering is a very common procedure and it really shouldn't take them three days to fully recover let alone three weeks. He definitely needs to be re-checked ASAP!

You mentioned that the hang up about taking him was that you didn't have a ride. Would it be possible to just shell out for a cab there and back? Or is there any public transportation that can at least get you within walking distance? I know it's not ideal but he really does need to be seen. I think with a little creativity you will be able to find a way to make it happen!

Vibes that you can find a way to get him to the vet soon and that it is nothing serious. Please let us know what they say!
