Oh my gosh!!! He is ADORABLE! I love his long expressive whiskers, and his beautiful green eyes- I just want to give him a big hug
Sorry, I feel like I have seen too many way-too-cute kitties today.

He looks like a very well-built, healthy-looking Domestic Mediumhair or Longhair to me, probably Longhair, with a tad of Maine Coon mixed in. The pics of him with your other kitties (also very cute!) are heartwarming.

Black and white cats are called Tuxedos, but are basically Domestic Short Hairs.  However, I think this one is a Tuxedo-Maine Coon mix. Hair is about as long as my cats Maine Coon (called medium ) and looks like it's pretty large....15 lbs. or so? and the tail and those big paws are definitely Maine Coon traits. Has a small ruff compared to some. The purebreds are usually black/brown/grey mix and often have white on chest and paws.

Apologize if this is duplicate--my computer is acting crazy and keeps erasing everything. Trying one last time.  This is a Maine Coon mixed with a Tuxedo (name for black and white DSH. ) Maine Coon features, big ears, large, 16-18 lbs. is average, big snowshoe feet, big fluffy tail, coat is a double medium hair coat, and mine gets that same look in his eye when I put him on his back and his fuzzy tummy shows up. They have very loving, laid back personalities, in general though I had one that was an energizer bunny. Ok, lets see if this gets erased again!

Yes I agree all three could well be Maine coon mixes. Check out my avatar that one of my maine coons Theo. He's a blue tabby and white. Your Scrappy is black and white with very symmetrical markings. Maine coons come in a whole range of colours and black and white is one of them. Your other two cats look like brown mackerel tabbies. Gorgeous cats :D

I have been leaning towards a Maine coon, I just wasn't positive, I thought the other 2 we're just domestic, I will post more pictures of all of them on my page if you want to check it out, scrappy is the one In the second last pic and fluffy is the one in the second picture bottom right, their parents are the mom is the same colors as them but very short fur and their dad is black medium hair so I'm not sure haha, but thanks for the complements all you have Geoufoua cats aswell

They all have a little bit of a Maine coon look about them, not 100% Maine coon. Maybe they have a Maine coon ancestor somewhere behind them, like a grandparent. Or they could just be look a like's, this does happen in domestic cats. Without pedigree papers they would be classed has domestic longhairs but you can call them maine coon look a likes or maine coon mixes. :D

They are really good looking kitties! Love their faces.  Here's an old article on how to tell if your cat has Maine Coon heritage http://maine-cooncat.com/ismy.html   Aside from that article, I thought I had read that many American cats occasionally produce kitties with the features of Maine Coons. Other possibilities could be Norwegian Forest cat, Persian heritage, or Himalayan. Although I wonder with Himalayan if there are coat color patterns that are specific in addition to body shape and coat length. Norwegian Forest and Himalayan produce cats with sturdy legs and snow shoe paw hair as well.

I had a cat (Hazel) who was huge in her prime. Tall cat with massive legs, gorgeous mane and tail and behaved very much like a Maine Coon including an obsession with water. For example, I couldn't use a water fountain with her because she just played in it all day, getting the kitchen floor soaked. She played fetch and loved to leap up in the air to bat the ball or crumpled up paper back like she was playing soccer. She was the best cat I have ever known. She was crabby as all get out, but was definitely a grand friend. She's been gone for 9 years and I still miss her. People were convinced she was mixed with wild bobcat (which of course was not the case). However, I don't think she was 100% Maine Coon either because I got her from a person who was going to turn her over to the shelter. My understanding is that she did come from a breeder, but it could be that it was an unsupervised breeding of some sort. She definitely didn't have any papers.

Another interesting link talks about Siberian cats. Images for the kitties show a lot of similarities to the other cats too (Norwegian Forest and Maine Coon) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Siberian_(cat)

The wiki page also suggests that these cats are the cats that are the ancestors to other long-hair breeds.
