Cell phones, ppl love em, ppl hate em, some have em, some don't.

What kind of cellphone do you have?
Or do you not have one at all?

If you have one, how often do you use it? Are you one of those ppl that live on their cell? Or is it emergency use only?

We don't have a landline and use cell only but I spend less then 2 hours a week on it.  mostly just seeing what husbands plans are or checking in on my mom.  I hate being on the phone would rather just drive a few hours and see person face to face.

It is a basic AT&T Samsung flip.  think its like 10$  have an acct though.

I am on my cell phone right now! :lol3: I use maybe 2 minutes of talk time per month, LOL. I'm not the sort who chats on the phone. Mostly internet, some texting. It's a Motorola Droid.

Rick and I both have Droid X phones by Motorola and we're on them constantly. He and I will text each other throughout our work day, just so we know we're thinking of each other. And if I have an unexpected meeting after work, it's easy to throw him a text, to let him know. We have unlimited everything, so we're Ok there.

We also use our phones for Angry Birds, Bubble Shoot, etc. Sometimes at night, we'll lie in bed together and play Angry Birds. (Although lately, I find myself playing AB on my Nook more often than my phone. And there's a Word Winder game on my Nook that Rick and I have been playing together.)

That being said, when we go out.....the phones are turned on vibrate.  And unless it's my mom or his parents (who are elderly and we worry about them), we won't answer our phones while we're in a restaurant or out shopping. That's what Voice Mail is for.

IMO, nothing is more annoying than some idiot who spends his/her time on the phone.....and making sure that everybody in the area can hear what they're saying. It's rude and inconsiderate. (I'll shut up now)

I hate cell phones, but have one just for emergencies.  It's a $15 Tracfone; I buy a $20 card for it every 3 months.

I have an iPhone 3S.

I use it mostly to play games, check email and Facebook. it's a live saver on slow days at work! I rarely actually use it to make calls (heck, I have no one to call other than my mom!) and occasionally text message to my sister.

I never use it when I am with someone as it is rude. My sister's friend came along to my nieces' recital the other night, and she was texting ALL throughout the recital. It was rude to see the light from the phone next to me, and rude that she's not paying attention. I can't stand it when people take out their phones to text or call someone when they're with me. It's OK to check briefly but not to be on it all the time.

Dana and I both have the Samsung Galaxy Ace and we LOVE it. I need to have a cell, because with the fostering and adoptions, I need to be available at all times. I also love being able to check my email at all times, as well as to be able to surf the web for anything I may need while on the go. It is very, very convenient.

My hubby has a Blackberry but his contract is up in August so he will be getting a smart phone as well this time around!! He can't wait to get rid of his blackberry :lol3:

I can't wait to get rid of my blackberry too. I don't get credits for a new phone until August 2013 though.
I have the Torch. I love the fact that it is a touch screen and has a keyboard, but that is about it that I like. I use it often enough, but I am not on it constantly. Mostly just texting and browsing the internet, especially while I am on the bus.

I am another one who can't stand when people are on their phones in public. It drives me nuts when people have loud conversations (especially if it is on speaker phone) on the bus.

I have an iPhone 3gs. It has proven harder to destroy than any of my past phones.
I have a really bad track record with my cell phones, including losing one in the snow, dropping one in the parking lot and it getting run over by a car, and in general just dropping them so the screen no longer works.

This one I have managed to drop in the toilet not once but twice and drop it so many times the screen is all cracked and spider webbed, but it still works. I swear I try not to hurt my phones, but some how I always end up breaking them.

I do use my phone a lot. Not so much for talking on, but more so for texting. I play a bunch of games, and use the internet when I am not home.
