I have a small community of semi feral cats that I care for in my apartment complex.

One in particular, is a very friendly 6 month old girl. Loves pets, sits in my lap, ect. Although she is still skiddish around other people.

We live in Arizona, and it gets SO hot here in the summer. I do what I can to keep them cool. But she is extremely social, and I would really like to find her a permanent home. But I have no idea where to start. Obviously the local SPCA isn't an option, Maricopa County in Arizona has one of the highest kill rates in the country.

Where would be my best bet to look for a shelter or foster family that could take her in? She's already fixed, we caught her for TNR a few months ago.

Any help would be appreciated.

We're located in Phoenix, AZ.

A prettie,  She could probably get work as a stand in for a Siberian.    It cant be impossible such a friendly and beautiful cat cant get a good adoption home!

One tip.  Avoid ads of the type:  Cat for free to a good home.  Its very dangerous for the cat.

Demand a donation, for example -  in the cats name, to some cause you both agree upon.  At leat 30 dollars.  Or simply, take payment for the spaying done.  (and you can donate these money if you wish)

I don't know the area but a google search brought these up:

You may not get a quick response as it is kitten season and all shelters are busy.  Was there anyone who helped with the TNR?  They may have contacts.  I'd try to get a foster type situation, as the one-on-one will be better for her socialization.  She might get lost in a shelter and lose ground.
